Going to start with the fact that my family and I have generally enjoyed pizza from Jim's. But the visit tonight seriously cost them any future business from anyone related to me period! I ordered 2for1 XL pizzas tonight and figured it should have come to around 50$ - 60$ tax in tops. I'm absolutely blown away when the kid behind the counter tells me 73.30$ which works out to exactly 31.65$ more than the 2for1 large pizza's of the exact same kind. Me and my wife have tried to find some reasonable explanation as to why the 2for1 - 14" pizza we bought about a month ago (same jims location) worked out to 41.65$ and the 2for1 - 16" pizzas worked out to 73.30$
That's exactly 31.65$ difference for pizza's that are 2" bigger, it's not like they used more dough to make them because the large pizza's aren't thin crust, and the XL's were definitely thin crust(no I did not order it as thin crust). My 9 year old could barely chew the crust it was so hard/crunchy. I've had more leftovers from 2 large then these 2 XL (4 people eating)
The half baked kid that was serving me was seriously useless when I asked how the heck it ended up costing such an insane amout more I got a blank look and a "I dunno dude".
Last time I ever go to any jims pizza location anywhere, had the girl given me a subtotal on the phone when I ordered I would have indefinitely changed my order. I can't even believe they are charging people 30+$ more for 2 - 16"(thin crunchy crust) vs 2 -...
Read moreTwo days before Xmas. Im tired, sore and had a rough week, I didnt feel like cooking and was really looking forward to pizza. Last time I ordered, they overcooked my pizza and it was very dark and crunchy. So this time I asked to see the pizza, politely mind you, and proceeded to explain why. I said when it is over cooked the crust is hard and brown and barely edible. The young teen age girl(?) serving me didnt even respond, or look at me. I said you dont seem to be listening to me, or even care what I am saying. Her response was "Im just trying to get your change, and we have no control over the temperature of the oven". There were several other young girls in the store at this time, all by now paying attention but no adults to be seen. None of them spoke up or offered any assistance to her or me. Needless to say I was not impressed, and even though i took the pizzas, they too were over cooked. I have been a customer for many many years, even cooked for them when i was younger, so i know what is acceptable and what isnt. If i wasnt so tired and hungry, I would have told her i aint buying those pizzas and might not buy...

Drove out to Chilliwack because I needed to be somewhere by 10pm, so we called in at 9:18 and placed an order for 2 small pizzas. The girl on the phone was barely responsive and we had to ask three times if she was there, and if she got what we were saying. We were told it would be 15-20 minutes. We waited 25-30 minutes then went in and asked if it was ready. The girl told us it would be 3-5 more minutes as it was in the oven. At around 9:57 we went back to the door thinking our food would be ready, and were told the order wasn’t even started as it had been lost. The man asked if we had called the right number (which we had), then offered to make us a pizza free of charge but as we had already told them, I was supposed to be somewhere by 10pm and was already late now, so there was no way I could wait another 15-40 minutes for two small pizzas.
It was our first time ever trying Jim’s, and after reading all the wonderful reviews we were looking forward to it. It definitely ruined our night. Now I won’t have a chance to have dinner before a...
