My husband and I went to Mr. Mikes Chilliwack on Sunday, September 24th with friends of ours for a birthday. My husband and I have only been there a couple of times. I ordered the sirloin steak sandwich which was great! My husband ordered the fish and chips. It came with only 1 piece of fish (whatever) and the entire meal was served on a baking sheet with parchment paper on all of it. The fish was so greasy that when my husband cut into the fish, a bunch of grease soaked parchment paper was attached to the fish! He tried a couple of bites like this, then told our server Maddie that this was not ok. Maddie then advised that she would get him another order. My husband's next order of fish and chips was exactly the same as the first order...a bunch of fries and a grease soaked piece of fish on parchment paper! Needless to say, my husband was not impressed and when he expressed that to Maddie, she said, "that's the way it's served at other places". I commented to her that fish used to be served on newspaper to soak up the grease, not parchment paper that leaves the fish lying in the grease. When our bill came, we were surprised that they still charged us for the grease soaked fish. When our friend questioned as to why we were still charged for the grease soaked fish, Maddie stated, "all the servers said that you guys always complain about your bill"! I couldn't believe what I was hearing!!! How utterly unprofessional to make a comment like that to customers! When we paid the bill and were leaving, my friend stated that we wouldn't be back. Maddie then replied, "good!" "We don't want you back!" Again, I can't believe how unprofessional this girl was!!!! We most definitely will not be back to this establishment, and will be telling as many people as we can about our experience here! We have never been treated so disrespectful in any other restaurant that...

Where do I even begin,3rd times a charm,yes,in a bad way,I won't bore you with the last two times I've been there so I'll stick with tonight,went there for my birthday dinner and thought just maybe after all this time they may have got their act together,ordered simple,the breaded shrimp appetizer and a lodge burger for me ,a grilled chicken burger for my friend,asked for no pickles and tomatoes, and crispy bacon, came with pickles and tomatoes and almost raw bacon,took off pickles,tomatoes and bacon and thought I just cant be bothered,bun was stale,tried the garlic fries they were saturated in fat and really white,not cooked much,waitress came by and I said I can get through the burger but I cant eat the fries,brought me new fries and the plate was pooling up with grease,and again uncooked mostly,raw,I left them,my friends chicken burger,cold and stale bun with undercooked fries,almost raw and luke warm,they offered a free dessert,I declined because I was just fed up,bill was over 80 dollars with tip(not the waitresses fault)....manager came by as we were leaving,I was very nice about the whole thing but no discount on anything,they reimbursed the 5 dollars because they actually had the nerve to try and charge us for replacement fries,I'm an idiot for going back,please don't make the same mistake of going there,very bad kitchen,staff are really nice though so it's sad for them,the quality has suffered so much,if I could've given a zero I would've ,by the way the table beside us ordered steak and as I got up to leave they said we overheard your disappointment, we were so disappointeded with our meals we sent them back,they were there before us so we didn't know,used to love it there but absolutely...

I ordered a New York steak for my boyfriend and a steak sandwich for myself to pick up. I was told to come in 18 to 20 minutes to get the order. It came to $54 and some change we gave the hostess $60 she took the money and proceeded to walk around the restaurant and then realized she had forgot to give me my food. We went straight home about a 7 minute drive and when I looked at our bill they had given us sirloin steak. When I looked at the food mine was cold not one little bit warm. The sirloin steak was so undercooked we had to put it in the oven and the portion of mashed potatoes was about the size I used to feed my two year old. We used to like Mr Mikes but I won't ever go back the quality has gone downhill not to mention I could have bought 4 steaks for the same price that they charge for 1 4 oz steak, it was not 7oz like they say it was very small. It's sad that Mr. Mikes have to give tiny portions and charge so much for them. I hadn’t been to Mr Mikes in a Year but decided to give them another try. We ordered the New York steak again and the Chicken burger. We were late picking up our food but the girl at the front was really pleasant. We got home and warmed the food up a little bit. The steak was big this time and it was absolutely delicious just like I remember the steaks from the 70s when my mom used to take my sister and I for dinner to Mr. Mikes. I actually had the burger and it was good to but I kept having a bite of my boyfriend’s steak I couldn’t help myself it was that good.
