It’s ok. The food wasn’t the greatest. I am not much of a complainer when it comes to food but when you had ramen in multiple places and the chicken karaage. You begin to learn what is good and what is bad and before anyone says you need to go to Japan to know what good really is, then to you I will say I have been there and I have had the ramen and have been to the fish market to get sushi. And no I am not comparing this place to the places in Japan , because that wouldn’t be fair. But I am comparing it to the other areas that I have been in Canada or USA. But the chicken Karaage is pretty embarrassing, the texture was very chewy and tasteless also It wasn’t fried properly and on top of that, there was little to NO chicken on it, I felt that I was just eating breading. Don’t believe me, see the picture and you will know what I mean. The roll was decent, big which is fine but decent. The ramen was ok. Not a must but if you haven’t had it then try it somewhere else not here.

Pretty mediocre. I will start with the pro's: 1. Close to Tesla supercharger. 2. Everything is fresh. 4. Lots of parking on weekend. I think that's all the pro's. Cons: 1. The rice is blant. Should be more spiced. 2. The plates are metallic. Which is nice, but the rice gets stuck to the metal and the rolls are falling apart when you lift from plate. 3. Water was never refilled. 4. Only full salt soy sauce at the table, haven't seen it for a while now. All the other sushi restaurants I have been to during the past couple of years, offer low sodium as a default. 5. Most of the rolls we tried were unusually blant and lacking taste, or oversalted. 6. Ginger had a very artificial taste, it was like eating ginger in a perfume, pretty common for cheap ginger. Sorry, will not be back. Definitely is not worth the price. Wonder why there are such great reviews online. P. S. Wasn't able to lock one of the cabins in women's restrooms. Had to switch the cabin.

Never again. Our family loves trying different restaurants and we love Japanese cusines. We’ve been in Chilliwack for almost a year and we have tried other Japanese restaurants and i’d say to skip this one and better go with sushico or yale shushi if you want a better service. We we’re welcomed by their chef in the counter telling us that they get 20% gratuity if we are more than 6 people. We didn’t even get a smile from him. I mean is that how they welcome their customers? And when we are ordering the food that we want the waiter kept on telling us that it will take time for that food to be served. We appreciate for letting us know but it’s like 4-5 food in the menu and it sounds like that they don’t want us to order it because it will take like 30-45 minutes for them to serve it. We enjoyed their sashimi though other than that i’d say you better have sushi in other Japanese restaurants in Chilliwack. They have poor customer service.

I had the teriyaki chicken dinner box. The first part of the box had California rolls (8) with Gari and wasabi, and Somen with a shrimp in it, and miso soup with little chunks of barbecue tofu.

First part of the box: Califronia rolls Good quality. Tasted good, had lots of flavour. Looked handmade. Came with wasabi and Gari. Came with soy sauce.

Somen Unfortunately I do not care for Somen. Anyhow it was maybe one of the best quality I have had. Definitely recommend the Somen there if you like Somen. Came with a shrimp in it (head off and deviened) Has a cucumber and a lemon.

Miso Soup Has a really good flavour and texture. One of my favourites there. The spoon they give you to eat the soup is really cute and easy to use. Has little chunks of barbecue flavoured tofu. Barbecue flavoured tofu. Cute spoon.

The second part of the box had a cabbage salad (with craisins), fresh fruit, a spring role with some kind of sauce on it, chicken teriyaki, and tempura.

Second part of the box: Cabbage salad Was a bit plain could use some salad dressing but very healthy and good if your looking for something a little less fattening. Came with craisins

Fresh fruit Really fresh. Looks like it had just been peeled. A good healthy addition to this snack. Had oranges, strawberry, pineapple, watermelon, and a honeydew.

Spring role This was really good. However I wish that they had given more than one. Came with a sort of sauce. Nice and easy to eat.

Chicken teriyaki This was really good! It was a good add of protein. Very good had veggie noodles underneath. Good source of protein Very flavourful

Tempura The tempura is the best. They give you two prawns and I have never seen someone give you that many. The batter was light and airy and overall a good addition to this dish. Light and airy Good taste

Our server was nice and quick. But beware to come early because it gets really...

This is the second time I have been here. The quality of the food is excellent, the portions are generous and the price is very reasonable. The first time I came here my friend ordered a chicken dinner. When the waitress came back and put the plate in front of him he looked puzzled as the waitress returned to the kitchen. My friend told me he ordered chicken but there was no chicken on the plate. My friend put up his hand to call the waitress back to let her know of the error. As the waitress emerged from the kitchen with more plates my friend told her of the mistake. The waitress explained as she put another plate down in front of him (with chicken) that was the first plate. You should have seen his eyes bug out at all of the food in front of him and let me tell you he can eat! It was so funny!!! I lived in Richmond for 25 years and if Hanna Sushi had been there it would have been my "go to" restaurant. As it is I just have to be satisfied with stopping by whenever I pass through Chilliwack. I hope they expand and open another restaurant closer to...
