If you want an example of poor customer service simply ask for Maria the manager at this Tripple O's!
Last night we went through drive though and I recieved garlic parmesan fries which I did not ask for and was also over charged for. We were in a rush so I called and talked to Sebastian who was able to quickly find our order in the system as we didn't receive our receipt either.
Sebastian was willing to replace the meal for the poor customer experience and having to come back. This is normal procedure &policy at most restaurants. I thanked Sebastian and WRONGLY ASSUMED THE ISSUE RESOLVED...
A few minutes ago today recieved a call back from their manager Maria who was calling to inform me they cannot replace the meal as only the fries were wrong. She will refund me $1.30 or something like that I was over charged and that's it.
I told her Sebastian said he'd replace the meal as we'd have to come back and for the poor customer experience. She said she could not and would not.
I pointed out to her that's poor customer service and we all know it's easy to comp/replace a meal. It only takes a few key strokes and possibly a manager password to override. It costs the company very little, nothing really and helps correct a poor customer experience.
Maria still wasn't willing to honor the meal replacement as already promised by her co-worker Sebastian the night before.
I told her we would not be returning to her location and Maria didn't care about that or customer retention at all.
With over 15 years of management and customer service experience myself, I can confidently say Maria should've never made management.
Tripple O's head office/higher ups, if you see this, I'd strongly recommend getting rid of your useless manager Maria and putting someone in charge with some tact, professionalism and who cares about customer experience & retention. Possibly Sebastian could use a promotion. I'm sure he'd help grow your customer base instead of loosing customers like Maria just did.
Oh we also called Tripple O's Eagle Landing close by and explained my situation and asked the manager how he'd have handled the situation? He too would've replaced the meal like Sebastian had originally offered.
This tells me this is not an issue with Tripple O's or the employees in general just the lousy manager Maria at...

Read moreI wanted to take a moment to recognize Harmeet from the White Spot in Chilliwack. She is truly one of the best White Spot employees I’ve ever encountered.
After camping, it has been a tradition in my family to stop for milkshakes before the long drive home—and Harmeet made that experience especially wonderful. Despite our somewhat complicated order (six milkshakes, with several mixed-flavour combinations in one cup), she was incredibly patient, attentive, and efficient. Not only did she get everything right, but she also made each milkshake look visually perfect.
Weeks later, after a second camping trip, we returned to the same location. Although we got the same order, the milkshakes just didn’t compare, Harmeet’s touch made all the difference.
I truly appreciate the care and craftsmanship she brought to something as simple as milkshakes. She turned a small tradition into something even more special for my family. Thank you so much for your hard work Harmeet!
Side note, I also tried the cheese cake on a stick for the first time that day. It was a great choice to try for dessert to go! Kind of on the sweeter side so I reccomend sharing a few bites with...
