I made a reservation for our whole family weeks in advance for our Christmas dinner for 430 last night, when we arrived we heard all kinds of conversation from the staff and owner about other guests that would be arriving for their reservations, they were busy, blah blah blah. We waited for 15 minutes to be finally taken to our table which was not even set with cutlery or glasses except for three settings , the waitress had to be asked for water, utensils, and had to ask for the remainder of the three children desserts, no one asked how our meal was, or returned to bring the bill, got the bill and paid including a 15 percent too for 10 meals and drinks. Upon arriving the chalk board where their specials were listed as Christmas special prime rib buffet adults 18 dollars. After paying the bill we realised that we were charged 25 per person, the owner was not wiling at this point to conceed that when we came in that is what the sign said until I stated the price said 18 when we came in and you are charging 25 , she stated that was the lunch special. We did not see anything stating this just "Christmas special, " when I stated it will be the last time we ever come here again she then said to come back I will fix it, but only after saying this, we left without her fixing it as she said, the whole experience at this restaurant was a disaster, very disappointing, it was a reservation made weeks in advance and things should have been ready for our party of ten!.............. the very apologetic owner George called me at home today to genuinely apologize for the service we received! Will revisit this restaurant for another chance to get ther awesome he is saying they offer on him. Thanks Geaorge for making it right! Received a nice letter from George with my refund and a 50 dollar gift certificte, will look forward to being wowed the next time we visit!...

Listen up all,

Me and my girlfriend went here after searching for places close to alix for lunch. Worth the drive.

The moment you walk in, it feels inviting, and you're not even at the main entrance. When you open that glorious door, the atmosphere? Top notch. Instantly greeted with friendly service. Atmosphere? 10/10

Went to the pool table. Everything was in great condition. Server was on point, always checking up on us, without being intrusive. service? 10/10.

Let's now discuss food. I ordered the 7oz steak sammy, med rare w/ fries. 10/10 delicious. My girlfriend ordered the Angus dip w/ side of veggies. Now they deserved an 11/10 due to the fact that they literally cut veggies fresh for her, not just celery and carrots but a bunch if veggies. The taste of the veggies? Felt like it came from the garden. I love your local farmers. Let's just say, the angus dip and veggies made her extremely happy.

First time ever going, but definitely worth coming back. 100% for sure.

The locals have an amazing hidden location here. If you ever happen to come through lacombe, I HIGHLY recommend stopping in at Leto's.

You're establishment made us feel welcomed and the food was impeccable. I would love to give you guys more than a 5 star. Thank you for giving me and my girlfriend an experience...

5 stars all day long. My husband and I had passed by this restaurant so many times, we finally decided to try it out. Friday evening around 6 pm...the parking lot was full and they were busy, but you wouldn't have known it by the excellent service and how quickly the food came out.

Best steak I've had in a very long time...seasoned and cooked to perfection. Hubs had the prime rib and thoroughly enjoyed it. Veggies and sides were fresh and clearly prepared by hand, (not frozen) and portions were hearty, making us feel that we got good value. The best part though was the dessert...fluffy strawberry cheesecake and a decadent brownie with caramel drizzled vanilla ice cream... Delivered to our table by the lovely lady who had baked/prepared them in house fresh that day. No frozen cheesecake in a box for this place. Outstanding šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼ Clearly this restaurant has standards above the rest...and for that it just became my favourite restaurant in central Alberta.

After several disappointing and ruined dinners at other local-ish (and unreasonably expensive, or maybe just undeservingly expensive) steak restaurants, hands down this will be the only 'steakhouse' we'll be visiting from now on. A bit of a drive for us, but nothing else compares or even comes close. We...

I've heard so much about this place.. Not sure why. We ordered the beet appetizer, it had a funky sweet/vinegar taste and the beets were burnt beyond eating. When we were there, the 3 we had weren't too bad and didn't notice the others were charred (it was dark and the blinds were down, or we would have said something). The beef dip had good flavour but the bun was crazy hard, like not normal beef dip hard. The BLT was flavour less and hubby had to put salt on it and, once again, super hard bread. The menu wasn't too bad but who's paying $30+ for a chicken meal at lunch? Other than a Buffalo sandwich and bowls, there wasn't other chicken meals. If we hadn't already ordered drinks, we wouldn't have stayed. The place wasn't bad but the music was crazy loud and we weren't sitting near the speakers.

We’re in the middle of our meal. I’m SOOO enthusiastic about our experience here that I’m pausing to rave about it here. It’s Valentine’s day and we don’t know why this place isn’t packed with foodies romancing their palates. New chef apparently. I guess word hasn’t gotten out that he’s knocking it out of the park. Beef Carpaccio appy, Pistachio Salmon with Yam fry chips and Tenderloin with carrot purĆ©e, Skor cheesecake for dessert and every bite was stellar! Our server, Jessica was effervescent, sweet and fun. We’ve been here 5 hours! They have a golf simulator which is touchy and error prone so don’t be ashamed about using the mulligan function. We golfed up a towering appetite before being feted with 5 star dining. Best Valentine’s ever!!

The premise is essentially that it's Leto's. The food is adequate, but not what I'd call "fancy." It's one of the nicer restaurants in Lacombe, so if you're looking for a family friendly place it will work well. The majority of people that are there are either seniors or some family groups. There's a buffet that has a decent selection, but nothing that's been cooked super fresh. The clam chowder has a lot of flower in it and was a bit tougher to swallow. There's free parking in the lot out front and the bathrooms are fairly well kept. Overall, I'd give it a 3.5/5 since it is nice, just a bit lax on quaility of food for the price.
