A&W Canada — Restaurant in City of Spruce Grove

I gave this place its last chance and I probably won't eat here again. Today my burger I ordered on skip ACTUALLY did taste good, but it was thrown together, I basically had to put the burger together myself, the fries in the poutine I ordered with it were barely cooked, I should've bought cheese and gravy and made it myself. Everytime I've been through the drive through at this place they're extremely slow. One time I was sitting there for 20 minutes and there was two cars in front of me. The other day I went to stony plain drive through and there were atleast 6 cars in front and they took less than 10 minutes. And thats not it, their food is hit or miss, some days there is a good burger, other days you get sick and can't even finish a burger. One time I had a burger here and couldn't eat fast food burgers without feeling sick for a very long time, it was that disgusting. Most the workers are very miserable also. This place either needs new management or needs to train their staff properly. McDonald's is right across the street, go there. Or stony plain a & w, the workers are so kind there and make amazing food...

Very disappointed with treatment. I was told after ordering that they would not accept my coupon which I printed from A and W site. The young man said its not worth it for us as we are losing. He then told me to go to the A and W in Stony Plain as they accept coupons. I said, I got a better idea, as I spend about $200 at this location per month how about I stop coming here and start supporting a different restaurant such as McDonalds for my weekly breakfasts and other meals.When I told him that most people that come here also come at different times and bring their families and spend a fair bit per month, I think he started realizing this and scanned the coupon through. Told him if they don't want to accept coupons from their site when I get to the drive in window, just cancel the order and I'll will shop somewhere else. I am not getting shaked down by the owners son so he can scam from me by putting the coupon through after I leave and pocketing the money. Customer base now minus 3 more due...

I initially came here on a Sunday after running a bit late for my Sunday grocery run and being told by the McD's across the street that it's apparently wrong to want hashbrowns at 11:05am on a Sunday. (they are hard and fast with their 11am cutoff and apparently have never heard of this thing called Brunch... but I digress).

Not only did this A&W have no issues making me said Hashbrowns, they were some of the best hashbrowns I've had, for the fast food kind anyways. They were hot, they were crunchy on the outside, fluffy and cooked on the inside and didn't taste like oil.

I have since come back twice for breakfast favoring the All Canadian Special, 2 eggs, some toast, some Tomato (its a nice touch) 2 pieces of bacon and 2 sausages. A good hearty breakfast with a more diner-ish feel to it. It's fresh, its tasty, It's actually hot and cooked but what it doesn't do is break the...
