McDonald's — Restaurant in City of Spruce Grove

So I worked in customer service for two years and I have never treated anyone this badly for no reason. However now I work 13 or 14 hours and travel biweekly so getting hot food is difficult. I usually just find a McDonalds close by to whatever hotel I’m in but this time when I went in and started ordering on the self serve I was told only drive through is open which I did after she told me. when I went through the drive through I was there for a good 5-10 minutes till another vehicle had pulled up and used the other side lane and was being served. At which point I went back inside noticed the self serve screens were turned off and went to the front desk to order. I was told there only open 23 and a half hours which was clearly false information just to get me to leave and also threatened to call the police on me which I have never done to someone who was just wanting to get food when was I working in fast food. I pointed out however the sign out front says 24 hours and the doors were unlocked and she still told me to leave so I did to not cause any further trouble. I did however get the lady’s name who treated me so badly. Who I’m going to be speaking about to the manager. I would not recommend to anyone during night shifts hours because of their horrible customer...

I’m rating this McDonald’s comparing it to other McDonald’s. If you’ve ever spend more than a week in the English-speaking world you already know everything thing there is to know about McDonald’s. Why does THIS McDonald’s only get 2 stars? Because they have a fairly new building in a good location, and the staff has always been civil. And that’s about all they have going for them.

The problem is that the management has failed to inspire even a very basic sense of pride in their work. This particular McDonald’s drops the ball fairly consistently. Whenever I get a Sundae the chocolate is just going to be lumped on one side of the cup. The burgers are going to be sloppy and hastily prepared. Fries are going to be old and half-empty. The simple cheeseburger I ordered today looked like someone sat on it.

Giving them three stars would mean that this is just an average McDonald’s, but these guys have a long ways to go before they get to average. It’s a shame too. Because everything could be fixed here if only their staff cared about their customers and took pride...

Ordered just before 4pm. LG coffee dbl dbl, 2 double cheese and a junior chicken. Anyone who ever worked at a McDonald's knows very easy and quick order. I pull up I pay I get the second window and asked to move ahead and wait for my order. I even inquired are you sure. The women said yes and she would bring it right out over 15 minutes goes by and ppl around me are getting orders (the wrong orders) vehicle coming after me are getting orders... so I inquire to the gentleman running food out. Who informs me its due to a crew change... (its McDonald's your not doing 12 on 12off why would everyone be shifting at the same time) none the less the poor fellow runs in makes my order because he has no idea why I was even asked to wait or where my order is. Makes it brings it out.. and sadly and not at fault to him. Its all cold. Burgers stale and cold. The chicken had no heat in it... may as well of shut the warmers off.

Not impressed McDonald's not impressed. But good job to the young fellow that tried to...
