This used to be my favourite starbucks location no matter where I would go no other starbucks was nearly as good whether it was the service or quality. When youâre paying $5-8 a drink, your expectations tend to be higher. If I choose to spend that extra $3-5 bucks on a good coffee than your typical Tim Hortons coffee then I expect some effort put into them. The quality of the service and drinks have really plummeted after the renovations were made. Iâm assuming theyâve either hired more employees or hired new employees to take over the position but if they did, whoever hired these new employees needs better judgement. I work in a food industry dealing with customer service as well, I donât get upset easily because I understand where most are coming from. However, these new employees have really failed to make the effort in being professional and just putting in a little bit of effort in their job. Donât get me wrong, some employees from this location are actually kind and professional and do put an effort but thereâs very little of them. I think the management is already aware of who the hard workers are. The laziness also shows through and they donât bother concealing it in front of customers. Iâve had some encounters where the baristas had attitude problems. If you canât handle your attitude, please donât work in customer service. I paid for a drink that was $8 that I couldnât drink because it wasnât palatable. Iâve discussed this issue with my coworkers and they too felt the same and this was also their favorite location but that has changed since these issues became consistent.    Read moreSlowly earning my respect and my business, I learned today when I, with great hesitation, purchased a coffee for myself, that the coffee is actually pretty good if all the necessary variables are correct, and the strongest most awful coffee memories I have about the Starbucks products are due to the employees lack of concern and incompetence of rotating the pots.
Until this day I had went to many different Starbucks for coffee and they were all the same, brutally strong, burnt nearly coffee, which after multiple locations and purchases, I assumed that was the way their coffee was.
As it turns out, what they really had in common was inept and lazy workers and they in particular were responsible for my boycott of the coffee.
Bravo, but my only concern now is, at what point will I be fortunate enough to have the same quality of coffee in future purchases, I feel it's somewhat unlikely,...
   Read moreI come here often as its close to the Clinic I work out of and always come if I have free time in the Morning to work on Paper work and other business related things. I just love the workers and their positivity. They are absolutely the sweetest staff ever. They are usually always quick and accommodating. They are usually fairly busy in the mornings inside and in drive thru and you never feel their stress even when they do fall behind. I try and support the smaller local coffee shops but the location is better for me and I just love their happy presence rather than a quite dark corner of the local places which I sometimes need and prefer. This is my favorite location in Spruce i have tried the other one and its just not the same vibe I enjoy here but there is nothing bad I can say about that location other than the drive thru...
