Subway — Restaurant in Clarington

Normally I love coming to Subway. However, today was very different. I had an incredibly unpleasant visit. I went to this Subway around 12:30 pm on Tuesday June 4, 2019. I ordered two of the mighty melts: one turkey and one chicken. The workers made them incorrectly. I said I thought the turkey had mustard and the chicken had garlic aioli (according to the website, and the photo behind the counter). When I commented on that, they kept telling me that I was wrong and that the chicken had mustard and the turkey had the garlic aioli. I then pulled up the Subway website on my phone and tried to show them. They were not interested and the one worker made comments such as he was not paid enough. After that, they did offer to remake the melts. I appreciated that offer and had the one sandwich remade. It was the attitude that I received though that made this visit very unwelcoming. They thanked me for waiting for the remake, but did not apologize. I typically have wonderful experiences when I come to this Subway location, so this was very...

Sometimes you can't go wrong with a good sandwich from Subway.

There are too many fast food options out there that are nothing but fried foods and although those are tasty sometimes I just don't want it.

That's why I am glad Subway still has that taste that is unique to subway. They have lots of options available now but I can't stray from a foot long sandwich.

Today I had a foot long roast beef on Italian herb and cheese bread. I had it topped the way I like but did make the mistake of forgetting to get it toasted. Makes the sandwich taste identical to a hamburger and there is nothing wrong with that.

My girlfriend got a six inch ham sub on Italian and it too was a good meal.

Keeps changing the breakfast menu, employees are rude and very slow. Somehow, they ask for a tip, that starts at 20% minimum! I’m giving u nothing. Is ur huge min wage jump not enough? I have to tip for garbage food and garbage service? $6.22 for one small breakfast sandwich. I asked for light sauce and the sandwich was soaked. I came in and was told to wait while small containers of take-out sauces were being filled very slowly. No sense of urgency or consideration. It’s fast food, I didn’t come in there to be told to wait when I’m the only customer . Maybe u should get ur prep work done before u open! And u have already been open...
