CJ's is a culinary crossroads of comfort food and intriguing sights. We stumbled upon this bustling establishment, a relic of a bygone era once known as Casey's. The atmosphere was alive with activity, as families gathered around tables and servers dashed about like caffeinated squirrels. We decided to indulge in a classic burger and wing combo, which was a safe choice. While it wasn’t groundbreaking, it certainly filled our bellies. Feeling adventurous, we also tried the mushroom caps and coconut shrimp. Though the food was solid, it had that familiar, mass-produced charm. The true star of the show, however, was the service. The waitstaff worked tirelessly to ensure that every patron's needs were met. Their dedication was as impressive as a tightrope walker balancing on a high wire. That said, a word of caution for those heading to the bathroom: tread with care. While the facilities were functional, they could use a bit of TLC. Entering them felt like stepping into a forgotten era, where grime and neglect seemed to reign supreme. Now, let's talk about the real attraction: the rotisserie chicken window. It’s like a live cooking show, but instead of Gordon Ramsay, you get a bunch of chickens doing their spin cycle. It’s mesmerizing, and oddly satisfying to watch. In conclusion, CJ's offers a quirky and chaotic dining experience. If you're looking for a taste of nostalgia and a side of rotisserie chicken theatre, this place is worth a visit. Just be prepared for a bit of a mess in the bathroom.

2nd visit, first review: august 30, wednesday good food, excellent service and atmosphere is great for meeting friends or dining with family. i had the pleasure of having mel attend to me and my partner. good thing we enjoyed everything she brought out, cause the last time we were here the gf didn't like the taste or feel of the jambalaya (she just reminded me now) and i didn't get to review cj's then.. this was at least a year ago.. today we had the spinach dip with nachos, the chicken pesto penne and steak fajitas.. we had to take some home, that 75 bill is good enough for 3 people eating. ^_^ lots of parking mel and other staff are amazing. would recommend

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the pleasure of dining at CJ’s Tap and Grill, and Marcus, our host, truly made the experience unforgettable! From the moment we walked in, he greeted us with a warm smile and welcoming attitude. Marcus was incredibly attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout the evening. His professionalism and friendly demeanor stood out, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about making sure every guest had a great time. He went above and beyond to check on us multiple times and made excellent recommendations from the menu. Thanks to Marcus, our night at CJ’s was fantastic! Highly recommend asking for him when you visit!

CJ’s Tap and Grill, a local dining spot with great potential, delivers a mixed experience that leaves room for improvement. While the restaurant has some commendable aspects, a facelift and menu overhaul are needed to enhance the overall dining experience. Ambiance and Décor: The interior of CJ’s Tap and Grill feels dated and worn. The décor, though once charming, now appears tired and in need of a refresh. The furniture shows signs of wear, and the overall aesthetic could benefit from modern updates. A renovation would breathe new life into the space, making it more inviting and comfortable for diners. Staff and Service: One of CJ’s Tap and Grill's standout qualities is its friendly and attentive staff. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu, quick to accommodate special requests, and always make you feel welcome. Their dedication to customer service is truly commendable and greatly enhances the dining experience. Food and Menu: The menu at CJ’s Tap and Grill offers a range of dishes that cater to various tastes. While the food is generally good, it lacks the wow factor that could make it exceptional. Some dishes are hit-or-miss, with certain menu items standing out more than others. A more consistent level of quality and perhaps the introduction of some signature dishes could elevate the culinary offerings. Overall Experience: CJ’s Tap and Grill has the potential to be a local favorite, thanks to its friendly staff and decent menu. However, the dated décor and hit-or-miss menu hold it back. A facelift and a freshen up of the menu would go a long way in enhancing the dining experience and attracting more patrons. In conclusion, CJ’s Tap and Grill has the foundation for a great dining experience but needs some strategic improvements to reach its full potential. With a refreshed look and menu revamp, it could easily become a go-to spot for locals and...

Good food, but they were better when we were last there a few months back. Quality of the food was lower this time around. Everything we got for our two meals was cold. I hardly touched the fries and I NEVER leave anything behind on my plate. Server never asked how everything was, we never saw her until she came by to clear the plates. We told her it was cold, she said sorry and took $5 off our bill. Although that was nice, it didn't make the meal worth it, unfortunately. We are local and will probably go there again, but I would like them to be like they were previously.

I forgot that or last experience wasn't very good. Well... here's the update. Went back this past weekend, 2022-May-28. One of the three dishes was good. They didn't let us know that an element of our dish, panko encrusted cheese, would not be available because they ran out of panko. They didn't tell the server so she didn't know to tell us either. That sandwich also had dry chicken in it. I ordered the club. They should have said this was their own take on it. Turkey was processed sliced meat, not turkey breast. It was also only two slices of bread. Never seen a single level club sandwich before. Again, could have told us it was their different take on it. My poutine had come cheese on it. Gravy wasn't got enough. Cheese didn't even melt. We told or server and she was sweet as pie and apologetic. She told the manager but he/she didn't even bother to come to the table him/herself. They gave us 1/3 of our bill but that didn't make the meal taste any better. We...
