Ordered my usual pizza I have saved on the app and went in when it was ready. Every time I go in I always ask for the employee if they could do me a favour and drizzle a little bit of BBQ sauce over the top of the pizza. In all my orders from dominos over the years I've never had this request turned down until my visit to the Cobourg location on may 24th, 2018. I was rudely cut off and told they don't add things unless they are paid for it. Understandable when universal for all locations but when locations in Lindsay, Peterborough, Whitby, Woodbridge, etc NEVER charge for small special requests such as this, it highlights how cheap the managers/owners must be. And to top it off they skimped out on the triple cheese that was ordered! Heres to hoping they aren't cutting corners in other ways as well.... 2/10 dissatisfied customer. From now on when I'm in town I'll be ordering from poppa john's.
EDIT: Called Dominos HQ to file a complaint about the terrible service from an employee and got a call from the manager of the Cobourg location who was very polite and kindly explained the reasoning for the extra charge, apologized for the dissatisfying service and offered to try and make things right with the same order on the house. Fair enough, appreciated the offer and happily accepted. Today (June 5, 2018) I ordered and picked up the free pizza (large 4 topping with TRIPLE cheese, Brooklyn pepperoni and bacon) when I got home I opened the box to find the pizza that is pictured. Definitely not triple cheese. I get that it's a free pizza and you can't expect too much but c'mon guys... You are trying to make it up to a customer and this is what you do? Turns out they are cutting more corners than I thought. NEVER coming back to...
Read moreWe moved to the area recently and I am an avid dominoes fan but this location has ruined dominoes for me.
We are 5 mins away from the store (that is generous) it's actually less than a KM. Our last five delivery orders have taken over 25 mins from the time they are sent for delivery to the time they actually arrive
My most recent order showed it had been delivered on the app while I was standing outside waiting for it. I called the store to confirm they didn't send it somewhere else and explained that they are delivery me cold pizza every time because of how long it's sitting in the drivers car. I order the crubchy thin crust so it doesn't stay hot like regular pizza. Although the girl was pleasant she offered me 15 dollars as a sorry. My order was 24 and still had not arrived. She and I were on the phone an additional 15 mins so my pizza finished baking at 9:09 and wasn't delivered until 9:49. Forty minutes!!!!!! I placed the order at 854. The kicker to this is that my cold pizza was actually burnt (this was a first for being burnt) and it wasn't just visually burnt it was all I could taste except for the piece dead centre.
I was told I would get a call back the following day from the manager. It has now been three days and no call, no concern to correct the situation, nothing.
I will never eat from this store again. Not only do you make one of the worst pizzas I have had from a dominoes, but you wait til it's cold to deliver it and then burn it so bad...
Read moreI have previously left a review of 5 stars for this restaurant but I just came back again to write another review which also leaves them with 5 stars.. (I’d give them 10 stars if I could!!) The pizza is always great everytime we order from here. This week for March break they put an event on for kids to be able to come in behind the counter and experience making their own pizzas for $5!! I missed getting my kids in during the week but when I called the store manger he said he had such an overwhelming response that he opened more spots on the weekend. The experience my kids had today was phenomenal.. The staff was so helpful and attentive to ALL the kids. My kids will remember this day for a long time and I can’t thank them enough for this opportunity!!! It really nice to see them put back out into the community.. They have life customers...
