I have been a semi-regular customer of MB for at least a decade here in town, and at other locations. I've always found the food to be good for the price. Usually fresh and usually my burrito bowl comes home with me as its usually too much to eat. Tonight however, I was sorely disappointed in the quantity and quality of food I got. I don't eat dairy or meat but to get a bowl of what was mostly rice, was disappointing to say the least. The veggies looked and tasted like they had been sitting for hours-they were so thin, they almost looked shredded. Two tiny scoops of both beans, very frugal scoops of everything else. When someone doesn't want meat or cheese/sour cream in their food, be generous with the beans and guacamole. Just sayin. Even the new oval bowls seemed much smaller than their usual circular bowls. The server was polite and lovely but whomever taught him how to build a burrito or burrito bowl, failed miserably. I left paying over $18 for a Bubly and a burrito bowl that felt half full. But this has happened multiple times now to me and my boyfriend, the tall girl with light eyes just seems miserable the first time we got served with her she was so completely rude to us, we came in within 45 mins of closing and she just gave us some much attitude we even offered to leave, and we left with a crunchy brown rice! This time we came in everything seemed fine until we went to pay and my bf asked for a drink and she rolled her eyes at us… it’s very upsetting! I ready other reviews saying she was spoke to already, but this hasn’t changed. I hope this issue can be fixed, we love mucho burrito but we will not be coming in if she will be serving us! And btw we spent 35$ on a burrito bowl and a burrito with a drink just to leave with crunchy rice stuck to our teeth!...
Read moreI visited mucho burrito last night to pick up food for dinner. The burritos were great but I felt uncomfortable for the young employees that were working there. One was helping me and was told very sternly to go help other people. The supervisor talked down to her employees a total of 3 times in my short visit. Like I said great food, but uncomfortable service. Those kids aren't making enough money to be told what to do in that way. The manager should take a course on managing with kindness rather than using fear to get people to do what you want.
Update: I emailed the owner in response to my review. What a complete waste of time. They didn't give me the courtesy of a response to my email, no thank you, no nothing. I think their priority was making it look like they care by responding in public, then...
