Went to get pitas for dinner Friday night on my home from work seemed like there was a party going on with staff a staff member I believe she was in front of me ordering food she left to take a call in the back and hadn’t paid yet the girl at the till either voided or completed it without payment and than the girl took my order my price for 2 pitas came to 25.97 I tired to tap it would not let me so I had to insert my card the girl at cash went missing my debit said approved I proceeded to walk away and the girl came back to the till said oh your purchase did not go through and I said yes it said approved she told me I had to pay again so I pulled up my bank account and said yes it went through and I showed her my bank account well no receipt came out she says this happen with our system you will get your money back into your bank account in a few hours it I was bullied into payin 25.97 twice my choices were leave with no food and minus 25.97 or pay it again so it’s been almost 2 days and still have not been refunded yet. Talked to head office talked too manager the owner wouldn’t come to phone and never had a return call they feel there is nothing wrong with what happened I was charged 2 times for my order what if I didn’t have the money to pay twice I would have left with no pitas and no refund this is very bad customer service jndeed Yours truly still waiting for my money you...
Read moreI understand that the food industry is having trouble staffing and i accept that but not at the cost of customer service. My order had two errors: tht forgot to grill my veggies and they made my daughter's yogunfruz the rog flavour. I politely asked the woman to grill my veggies and i wasn't going to mention the yogunfruz mistake but my daughter brought to my attention. I then brought that up to the staff politely. Once our food was prepared and wrapped, it was placed on top of the counter. I again asked if i may have a bag for my food. The staff member looked extremely put out but my request, she put my dinner in the bag and dropped it onto the counter.....didn't close the bag.....no "sorry for the mistake"......no "thank you" or " have a good evening". I accept the mistakes but not the rudeness. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of leadership for that team and i am not sure if i will go back. As a result of the staffs poor attitude, the food itself was....ho hum...nothing j wouls recommend. Lastly, why does Pita Pit allow the food delivery driver not to wear a mask while in the store around customers? They had no problem telling customers that the store was at capacity and asked them to wait outside, yet they allow a maskless individual to be indoors? Where is the leadership...
Read moreI went to this pita pit on May 12 to order a pita for my son. I ordered a chicken pita with bacon, lettuce, cheese, cucumber and mayo… nothing complicated. The red headed female worker (have to use description as she was not wearing name tag) proceeded to bathe the pita in mayo by emptying half the container in the pita. I told her that was too much and I didn’t want that much mayo. I asked her to remake the pita with far less mayo. She proceeds to get angry and declare she is not going to remake the pita as I should have specified how much mayo I wanted before she started. Sorry I expected a pita in which my son could actually taste the chicken and the other ingredients. I thought at Pita pit the customer gets to have the pita how they like it, maybe I missed the change to their protocol. Any way she eventually did remake the pita but I could have done without the rudeness. I realize working food service jobs can be thankless sometimes, however as someone who has done it I would always ensure my customers left with a good experience and satisfied they got what...
