Saturday evening - Treated horribly by manager. Was yelled at full blast across the resturant the minute I walked in the door (at 9:33pm) that if I had not placed an order already, the resturant was closed, with her hands up, signalling stop.
I left, and once outside, my daughter pointed out it was only 9:30, and the resturant does not close until 10. I went back in, approached the counter and asked the same individual if I could please speak to the manager. The woman announced in a very loud voice, "I AM the manager". It was obviously that she wanted the entire resturant to hear our conversation.
I asked, still being polite, if she realized it was only 930pm? The manager made a dramatic show of leaning backwards and looking at what I guess is a wall clock, and saying, "my clock says it's 940PM and we've already turned off the fryers and they need time to cool down". I replied, "I see, so you don't actually close at 10pm, you walk out the door at 10pm". It was at least beginning to make sense to me. The manager replied that she is always there "way past ten".
As I truly did not wish to argue with this person, I said, okay, however I do believe that is not right that the sign says open until 10pm, may I please have her bosses number? I was informed, still in a very loud manner for all to hear, that she doesn't have a boss. I suggested a district manager, and again, was loudly informed there wasn't one. She proceeded to yell at me that she didn't set the rules and I should go call head office and to go look up the number.
I gave up and walked away, and as I was already leaving, the manager yelled again that it wasn't her fault and I shouldn't be arguing with her. I stopped, turned around, and finally raised my own voice (though still not to her level!), and advised that I hadn't wanted to argue with her, thats why I asked for the bosses number. I turned and proceeded to leave, and as I did, the manager was still yelling after me.
I hope security coverage caught everything so that the owner can verify my account, and see how the manager treats (now former) customers!!

Read moreStaff were very rude when returning an incorrect order. They judged for returning something and rolled their eyes. There is also a young girl whom often works the front cash. She has been the most unpleasant and catty girl I have met in a retail context. She was laughing and whispering to another worker when returning the item. You are a very unkind and predatory group of uneducated and resentful beings. Will never return to your location as the energy is horrible. Also, being forced to listen to vulgar and trashy music at a loud volume also sets the tone when someone enters your establishment. EDIT: They made it right in my opinion. Read more9 o clock on Friday September the 20 2024 cobourg , the displayed towards customers by staff was disappointing , the lady preparing food was sloppy wasn’t trying at all. The guy before me was showing disappointment as well and after watching people chat in back handle the phone in kitchen leave food done and not serve it made me want a refund but I stayed then she gave me my food I open it in front of her after waiting 25 minutes with no one in the store it was pitiful cold fries not more than 10 total and nasty looking sandwich,wings were not the flavour I ordered ,and there she was trying to jam it in a bag and I told her they should be embarrassed working in the public like this and I made a big mistake by coming there and will never return ever !!!!!!!!!!
