Harvey's — Restaurant in Cochrane

Ordered 2 #5 Breakfasts. The kitchen wasn't cooking BUT Waited as if it was busy, when we were the ONLY order! The BACON Was in BITS, not 1 full piece but BITS !! I asked for deep fried hash browns & got spiced wedges. Our "Over Medium Eggs, (were white IS cooked & Yolk is runny), 1 wasn't cooked through & other was over cooked! Both white & whole wheat Toast like bubblegum! What was the reason for putting the toast over the eggs?? To keep them warm or suck up the extra grease from the eggs?? Once order was placed, we found a seat. I even had time to use bathroom.. grab napkins, ketchup etc, sit & still wait another 5 mins or so when the girl brought our trays. To which the only HOT items were the coffee & Potatoe wedges! Did this Harvey's hire the 1st person that said "I can cook"?? Maybe cooking lessons are in order? 2 same meals turning so different.. something to think about. There was NO jam, peanut butter or honey trays out at all for the breakfast meal!! We live south of Toronto & have never seen a Harvey's looking...

I was really craving a Harvey’s burger with fries and gravy, so when I saw that Cochrane had a Harvey’s, I was all in. I walk in and there is one person working and she doesn’t seem happy - most likely because she just worked the lunch rush by herself. She wasn’t rude to me but she also was not interested in being there. She also didn’t wash her hands before she handled the cheese that went on my burger. I already paid. The cheese will be hot and kill the bacteria I try to assure myself. She served me my food and I went to sit down. The place was filthy. The bathrooms were filthy. The burger was warm - the fries were super hot. On my way out I noticed the exterior of the building was filthy, grown weeds and garbage in drive thru. What happened Recipe? Someone needs to visit from HO and rescue their brand. I may return one day with the hopes that it will have turned around but I will not be returning anytime soon. We were traveling hwy 11 and stopped here for a quick lunch. Quick it wasn’t. I had the crispy chicken and onion rings with Diet Pepsi, my husband had a regular burger with frings ( 1/2 fries 1/2 onion rings) and Diet Pepsi. Our burgers came up and the young girl at the counter fixed them and put them in a bag under the heat lamp. For some reason she had to wait for the bubbles on the pop to go down before she could continue to fill the glasses?!? This process took 15 minutes! I’m not kidding. When we finally got our food and sat down, we had 2 fries and one onion rings, no frings and burgers were of course cooled significantly at this point. I should have turned around when we came in and immediately used the washrooms, they and the entire place were filthy. Just don’t bother. There are other fast food...
