I went to Wendy's in Collingwood located at 533 First Street. I ordered a combo and I specifically asked for no cheese. When I got to my Mother-In-Laws house and she opened it she took a bite and she realized that it had cheese on it she right away spited it out of her mouth and said the burger has cheese and my Mother-In-Law is allergic to cheese really badly. I got very upset so I went back to the Wendy's and I asked for the manager and I got very upset and I explained that how my mother-In-Law had to be rushed to the hospital because there was cheese in the burger and this is where it gets interesting the manager replied to me "Mam I AM SO SORRY I WILL MAKE ANOTHER BURGER FOR U" I replied IM SORRY REPLACE MY BURGER! I SAID MY MOTHER IN LAW COULD DIED AND ALL U HAVE TO SAY IS I WILL FIX UR ORDER? I Literally LOST IT. I TOLD THE MANAGER IS THAT HOW YOU SHOULD TREAT UR CUSTOMERS BYE First OF SAYING OMG I AM SO SORRY IS UR MOTHER IN LAW OK? OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT INSTEAD HE SAID I CAN OFFER YOU A FEW COUPONS FOR UR TROUBLE. I YELLED AT HIM AND SAID I DON'T WANT COUPONS OR MY MEAL FIXED WHAT I WANT IS FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY DO THERE ORDERS CORRECTLY AND I SAID THIS IS RIDICULOUS SERVICE I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. AND I LEFT. Everyone please make sure every time u get ur order please check it and make sure it's correct. I would hate to have the same thing...
Read moreVery disappointed with what happened tonight. My husband and I were enjoying our evening with a few drinks and decided to grab dinner from our local wendys here in Collingwood. As we were not able to drive given our indulgence, we walked to Wendys. As we have done MANY times, we walked through the drive through for our order as the dining area was closed. We got to the speaker nobody came. So we decided to go to the 1st window to order and nobody was there. So we were a little confused and went to the second window. The gentlemen came to the window and we asked if we could order. We were told that they weren't taking walk throughs anymore, due to complaints. We asked if we could come in to order. He said the dining room was closed for covid. Annoyed, we asked "What if we don't have a vehicle?". He said we don't have an option for you. Absolutely ridiculous!! What is the difference? I want to pay for food!! We ended up going across the street to A&W as we were hungry and now annoyed. So thanks for nothing up Wendys, maybe put a sign up, or at least have the courtesy to acknowledge us at...
Read moreI've worked in customer service for 15 years, 5 of which were at a Wendy's. I understand that mistakes happen and I generally am very patient with fast food workers. That said, every single time we go to the Collingwood Wendy's, they screw up our order. Every time. They'll miss things completely, make sandwiches with the wrong toppings, wrong drinks, wrong sides, etc. I understand a mistake here or a mistake there, but in the past year, they have not got our order right even once. I called in to inform them they'd messed up, and they comp'd me a meal (even though I said I didn't want anything free, just wanted to make them aware of the issue). Today, I picked up the free meal, and the manager also managed to get my simple order incorrect that was complimentary because they kept giving me incorrect orders. I can only be so patient. And while the obvious solution is to stop going there, unfortunately we have a very picky 8 year old that only eats a select few things, Wendy's being one of them. All I want is for them to give me the correct...
