It appears that there might have been a change in ownership, and as a result, our preference leans towards the coffee offerings of the previous proprietor. The previous selection of beverages, including options like cold brew, flat white, Spanish latte, and more, held a special place in our hearts. The flavors and quality of those particular coffee choices resonated with our taste buds and left a lasting impression. However, despite this change, it is important to acknowledge that the establishment continues to excel in other aspects. The overall ambiance remains pleasant, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for patrons. The service provided by the staff remains commendable, ensuring that customers are attended to with care and efficiency. Moreover, the pricing of the coffee and accompanying items remains reasonable, offering value for the quality and experience provided. While our preference might lean towards the previous coffee options, it's important to remember that taste is subjective and can vary from person to person. Others may find the current selection equally appealing or discover new favorites among the updated offerings. In conclusion, although we have a fondness for the previous coffee choices due to their distinct flavors, we recognize that changes occur over time. Despite the alteration in ownership, the establishment continues to excel in terms of environment, service, and pricing. It remains a worthwhile destination for coffee enthusiasts seeking a pleasant and satisfying experience.

Outside, it was raining heavily, making everything feel wet and cold, so I hurriedly looked for a nearby café and ended up at this pet-friendly little coffee shop. I checked online beforehand, where it mentioned that they use locally sourced organic ingredients. However, when I arrived and asked the only staff member there, she didn’t seem to know much about it. I ordered an espresso made with 49th Parallel beans. On the counter, there were photos of two items: a Beef Bulgogi Croissant and what looked like roasted cauliflower, so I ordered one of each. The café seemed to have new décor, but the color scheme and atmosphere weren’t great, and there was still some renovation debris in the corner near the entrance. With only one staff member working, it took quite a while for the food to arrive. The coffee was good, and the sandwich looked substantial with fresh ingredients. The beef was flavorful, with that distinct Korean BBQ taste. However, the cauliflower wasn’t very enjoyable; it was steamed rather than roasted, which was a bit disappointing, though I couldn’t complain much for just five dollars. Maybe because of the time we came or the location of the café, it wasn’t very busy. The only staff member was at the counter, eating and drinking. Overall, the impression was just average.

Went on a weekday afternoon and it was not busy at all. There were two people inside and then two others who went through during the time I was there. There was one person working who took orders and made the drinks. They were polite and respectful throughout the transaction. Ordered a matcha latte and strawberry sunset drink. The drinks took some time to make, but it was not unreasonable. Picked up the drinks at the counter and there were many tables available. The matcha latte had a light matcha flavour, but could have been stronger. The drink was a good temperature and the latte art was exceptional, but the flavour was a little lacking. The strawberry drink was quite refreshing and flavourful. There was a lot of the strawberry jam or puree inside, which made for an intriguing texture. The price was reasonable as well. Was not rushed to leave at all during this time. There is music playing in the background, but it is not overly loud that it would drown out conversation. Overall, a good place to work or meet someone for a quiet conversation.
