I wanted to get a cake for my lactose intolerant friend's Birthday so I searched for places in the Tri-Cities and found a handful of places. Occasionally Honey responded to me quickly through Facebook Messenger and had the best pricing for a dairy-free cake. I also had a request for a Darth Vader image on the cake and other places would have charged me A LOT of money to have that done. Nicole was able to do a cool image at no extra cost. I had a lot of questions about what type of cake to get, and Nicole was patient, responsive and provided great advice. We ended up getting an ice cream cake and I met her at the Farmer's Market to pick it up. She gave me lots of options on when or how to pick up the cake and that was the best place and time for me. A few days before my cake was going to be picked-up, I had an increase in the number of people at our place and I upgraded the cake size without a problem. After picking up the cake, the moment of truth came to try it out. Ice cream cakes are my favourite type of cake and I've never had a dairy-free one. It was delicious! I asked everyone about their feedback since I'd never ordered a dairy-free cake, and it was my first time ordering from Nicole. Everyone thought it was amazing! I'll definitely be ordering from here again whenever I need something dairy-free. Thanks Nicole!

Ordered the oreo cake for my birthday! Amazing!! I went vegan 3 years ago and I haven't had oreo cake for over 6 years. It's always been my favourite! I was beyond ecstatic to find Occasionally Honey and have my favourite cake for the first time in so long. I Loved it! So did all of my guests! So rich and delicious. Can't wait to order for future birthdays and celebrations 💕

Love the vegan treats and cakes, from the coconut bliss balls to the rocky road and peanut butter chocolate squares, this place knocks it out of the park for vegan delights. The owner artist is as friendly and sweet as her creations are. 5☆ all the way!

I recently learned of this place and finally got around to trying it today. We learned that they have been around for 3 years. Crazy thing is I’ve lived in the tricities (super close to this location) for the last 15 years and only just learned of them!

It was a very lovely experience. It is a small dessert spot tucked away in a corner of a commercial lot. It has a very cute and cozy vibe inside but not really any seating area to hang out. The staff that helped us were very friendly and wonderful.

One thing that really got me excited is that fact that they are inclusive with vegan treats. I am dairy free so it’s really helpful to see that I don’t have to miss out on delicious treats.

Would I recommend Occasionally Honey? Absolutely, over and over again. Whether you are vegan/plant-based/gluten free or not, or just someone who is a sucker for a good cafe or dessert place - Ocassionally Honey is a spot to check out.

I tried the soft serve (made with oat milk) with caramel sauce and chocolate cookie crumble. We also got a Lemon Raspberry creamy coco pop (made with coconut milk) - this is apparently one of their popular flavours. Loved both. I was quite surprised at the flavour profile of the coco pop but it actually worked really well and I...

It's great to have a safe place for dietary restrictions of gluten and dairy free. And the owner is so friendly and kind. However, I always forget that most items I try are overly sweet. And then I don't go for a long time, forget and then regrettably remeber once I go back. It would be perfect if the baked goods and ice cream desserts could be toned down on the sugar content. I really do want to support vegan...
