Awesome Sushi — Restaurant in Port Coquitlam

Apparently this place was opened sept last year. Excellent rolls. Tried the aburi salmon oshi, amigo oshi, crunch roll (was still crunchy after 20 min of take out and travel), rainbow roll (wasabi sauce is not spicy, it's more sweet), snowy dream roll. I personally don't like Masago, so asked to put them on the side, as my other family members love it. Staff was friendly and patient with my queries. I asked to pack all these beautiful rolls in a party tray and the chef made it work. Beautifully arranged. Would go back to this place in a heartbeat. PS: I am a snob when it comes to special rolls and this place did an amazing job. Even the fish slices on top are bigger than lots places and the avocado is a generous chunk!

After searching high and low for a local gem, I stumbled upon this incredible spot, and will be my stable sushi to go☺️ From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and attentive staff who made me feel right at home. The sushi is very fresh and tasty. I recommend the dynamite roll and Montrose roll 🍣 I love the cute cutlery🍴 I know it might seem like a small detail, but I absolutely adore the attention to detail in every aspect of this place, including the utensils! I'm already looking forward to exploring more of the fun items on the menu. [Feedback on Awesome Sushi’s Reply] Your response—saying something like “can’t control product” during what you call a peak hour—raises serious concerns about how the restaurant is managed. There were only three tables occupied, including mine, with a total of five guests. If that counts as a “peak hour,” I really question the operation’s capacity.

Also, I never said I enjoyed the food. The 4-star rating was simply a conservative gesture. If sushi quality falls below 4 stars, that’s already quite poor in my view.
