Jennifer's — Restaurant in Corner Brook

Horrible experience. First red flag was when I went in to use the restroom, no soap and it looked like they don't clean the room at all. There was no non-alcoholic drinks listed anywhere on the menu, and when asked for drinks the waiter brought out the alcoholic menu only. I had just got my photo ID, and I had the temporary ID that is supposed to be used for the same purpose as a photo ID where required. He would not accept any of my ID, claiming it could be anyone's. He then proceeded to argue with me over this, when all I was doing was showing him my papers. He then proceeded to (purposely) misgender my girlfriend and then when told he could be threatened with legal action for discrimination, he gave the fakest apology you can possibly imagine, then proceeded to threaten to call the cops over people calmly talking to him.

TL;DR: if you want a really bad customer service, unfriendly staff, and overall bad atmosphere, and a possible food contamination, I recommend this place....

I chose Jennifer's as my venue for my wedding (little over a week ago) and they were fantastic! They set up the downstairs room beautifully with half set up for ceremony and the other half dining with buffet. We got several dishes for everyone to choose from including vegetarian options and everyone just raved about the quality. My flowers (bouquet, boutonnieres and corsage) and the wedding cake were exactly what I wanted! They are an excellent price for renting the room, decorating it, food prep and serving, flower arranging and cake - They take care of all of that! I only had to arrange DJ and photographer. Went to Jennifer's because it looked nice and the reviews were good.....we were sadly disappointed to say the least! Ordered 2 steak dinners and 2 chicken dinners at 7 pm, 8:45 our meals arrived! Apparently they had to turn the grill on!? Yet it still took 1hr 45 minutes for our food to be ready. We were offered a free pop or dessert as compensation. We obviously declined since 9 pm is far to late to even consume the meals already Ordered let alone have sweets at that time! Extremely unhappy with service and won't ever return. I certainly hope this isint a common occurrence and a one time event.....I still won't recommend let...
