Lewis Park — Attraction in Courtenay

Love this park! The ball fields are a massive big open field where city events take place, is great for sports and sports tournaments, there is a river that winds around it, there are building for rent in the field, stages available, a skate park, there is a huge Rec center and facilities, there is a huge park for all ages tots and up, in the summer there is a free splash park, a free wading pool and a pay for outdoor pool! Take a stroll along the water's edge where the Puntledge & Tsolum Rivers meet to form the Courtenay River and follow along underneath the 5th Street Bridge to link up with the Simms Millennium Park. In Summer you'll find many river hoppers warming up on the side of the river in Lewis Park. You might want to get yourself a tube and join the fun. Ask any of the locals where they start their tube journey and they'll be happy...
