Phat Parrot — Restaurant in Courtenay

I went here expecting delicious food. I left disappointed. I ordered the 13 dollar Quebec poutine my stepson ordered the macaroni and cheese bites. My order of French fries was undercooked and appeared to be the shoe string fries from the superstores frozen food section, disappointing to say the least.Costco delivers a higher quality product at half the price. My stepson s mac and cheese bites were overcooked and bone dry inside and with 2 drinks my total came to 29 dollars. The gravy was nice but the quality of fry was truly upsetting.

According to my transaction record we were there on Friday May 16 and my total was 29.40. I understand how significantly a bad review can effect a small business especially in the times we are living in. We are all tightening our belts and being conscious of where and how we spend our available time and dollars. I came to your restaurant with high expectations and was very disapointed, but everyone has an off day. I will come back and try again some time and I will adjust this review accordingly. I hope you knock it out of the park as I have heard from many...

Worst burgers I've ever had in my life I truly don't understand how they get all these great comments . I mean I'm 50 years old and have ate alot of burgers in my life but these ones were as thin and dry. I did start to ponder maybe they ran out of their regular burgers and rushed to the store and bought premades cause they were in a pinch . There is nobody on earth that would have said the burgers I had were good burgers . I bought these during Canada Day at the park . Sorry man but if that was the burgers you make them all these good comments are probably fake . With all these new burger joints around this place doesn't even come close to being better...
