Unfortunately I am giving a bad review today. This is the second time over the past month that they made a mistake with my drink. In my case, I am lactose intolerant - I regularly order grande long shot americanos, light room, black (very straight forward). This is the second time they put milk in my drink over the past month. I was distracted and sipping away at my drink, but wondered why it tasted so bad, then I realized when I started feeling a bit sick that they might have put milk in it. When I was done what I was doing I stopped at their store to let them know. My bad review isn't necessarily for the mistake, but for the way the mistake was handled. There was no apology and they seemed defensive. I told them I was too sick for them to make me another one today (and it was past my time for caffeine intake). The best they would reluctantly offer was to give me a free drink next time. This is the polar opposite of how the Thrifty Foods handled it when they made a similar mistake about a year ago that caused me to have a lactose reaction. The manager called me, made a sincere apology, asked how I was feeling, had a meeting with staff to ensure such a mistake would never happen again, and then provided me with a $40.00 gift certificate. Starbucks staff, you need to remember that some people are lactose intolerant, and your mistakes can cause people to have bad reactions in their bodies. Also, you need to be prepared to apologize and make things right when a mistake does happen, instead of...
Read moreI hate writing this review but I feel it is necessary. me and my friend went through the drive thru April 4th around 4pm ordering iced teas with strawberry acai (my friend who ordered said to replace the water with strawberry acai twice) we roll up to the window and immediately met with attitude. as soon as we paid we got the drink made with strawberry Puree and not strawberry acai. since the sticker says strawberry base i can see how new baristas can mix this up (even tho the sticker will say strawberry puree but ok). when my friend tried to send it back we immediately got gaslit by the person at window. she kept telling us "if it says it made with strawberry base on the sticker then it's made with strawberry base" which is not the case. then shortly after, she stormed off probably realizing she wasn't getting her way the someone else helped us, she was so kind and absolutely amazing. she remade our drinks and sent us on our way with no problems.
I wouldn't be writing this review mainly because I used to work here and want no problems but this is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional, you don't gaslight customers even if it's someone you used to work with.
the photo: drink on the left was the drink that got handed out and the one on the right was made correctly with strawberry acai base. sooo poke fun and since I apparently don't know what strawberry base is even tho I've worked for starbucks 2+ years... spot the...
Read moreThis is our newest Starbucks in town and the space is quite nice/large. Unfortunately, the service was terrible - the last time I went in and it was filthy. When I went to order, there was a spill on the counter and the server did not clean it. I paid with cash and had to find a clean spot on the counter to put my money. Then, as we were waiting for drinks, I watched an employee use the blender without a lid, spill all over the place and then keep going, we waited a while and I did not see him clean up the spill mess. There was also a large pile of boxes in the space viewable to customers. The space is strangly organized and it looked like no one working that day cared about cleanliness. I’m not sure who the manager is for this location, it is as though no one was in change, making sure things are running smoothly and at a certain standard. This was unexpected and it made me suspect this location is in need of a full...
