Today I had a delivery order at Subway (2760 Cliffe Ave #2, Courtenay, BC V9N 2L6) from a delivery app. As usual, I always bring an insulated bag, but today I had two orders along the same route. For the first order, I had to wait quite a while, so this time when I went in to pick up the order, I forgot to bring the bag because I was worried about being late and getting a bad rating from the customer.
When I went in and already had the order in my hand, the male staff member told me to go back to my car to get the insulated bag before I could take the order. My car was parked right in front of the store, just about 30 seconds away from the entrance. I put the order down, went out to my car to grab the insulated bag, and came back in, explaining the situation, but the staff member still insisted with an annoyed attitude.
I’m not sure if this staff member is having issues at work, but every time I come in, he always looks unhappy and irritated. After I put the order into the insulated bag, I asked him, “From the car to the store is only 30 seconds — do you really think the food will get cold?” And when I deliver the order and leave it at the customer’s door, how can we guarantee the food won’t get cold?
After that, I told him that next time I would make sure to bring the insulated bag, and I apologized. Sometimes I have to wait 15–20 minutes for an order, but I never show frustration — I still smile. If he feels annoyed, he should learn to control...

I ordered a footlong Veggie Patty sandwich, and not only was the bread unusually hard and sour-tasting, but I also ended up with food poisoning afterward. It’s incredibly frustrating and worrying to feel sick after what's supposed to be a simple meal.
I’ve always considered Subway a decent option for a quick bite, but this experience really shook my confidence in their food safety and quality control. I hope they take this kind of feedback seriously and ensure better food handling practices going forward.

When I went there for refund she said she will not refund it and then I asked her to make my sub way again she was not even sorry she was giving me attitude unnecessarily…She was very rude and had terrible experience there .. there was bad smell from sandwich .. very bad customer service ..never going in...
