I believe in constructive criticism. I believe that there is some improvement to be made here. There are many factors to consider. The fact that I came in an hour to close on their first day may have been a part of it.

I ordered a sushi box and my fiancé ordered sushi and miso. The portion sizes were ok, but the rice was too mushy. I also received an end piece of a roll that was barely a piece at all. I'm not sure if they prepare sushi differently than normal but my last piece of the California roll tasted different and a little weird, I don't know why. The mushy rice sorta ruined the cucumber and avocado rolls for me, I wasn't a fan of the texture. I also couldn't finish the beef roll. I also tasted the miso soup my fiancé ordered and found that it was too salty to enjoy.

That's all the food we ordered. My opinion may change later, but for now I think I'm going to give them some time to improve their food first.

The building was clean and nice to be in. The staff were super friendly and courteous. Service was really fast considering the amount of orders we saw before us.

All in all, just gotta improve the food... At least the sushi and miso anyway.

Ordered online in advance and came to pick up on scheduled time. Waited for 15 minutes in drive-thru. Indian staff was rude towards customer when asked about the online order. Customer proceeded to wait for another 5 minutes for the online order. Indian staff was impatient when handing out the order and is showing an irritated look. After handing in the drinks, Indian staff threw the straw inside customers car and walked out.

There’s literally 5 people inside the fast food chain, I don’t understand why that staff was acting like I’m wasting her time? The food doesn’t taste like what it did before, the vegetables are overcooked and ran by people who doesn’t care about Japanese cuisine. I remember when a Japanese cook was actually in the kitchen and now it’s all run down by one nationality.

Edo Japan, please screen the people who work for your food chain! The attitude of your workers reflects on...

This place is brand new so I was a little optimistic going in... I was NOT disappointed! Even though they are less than a week old, the food here is amazing. The portions are perfect so you wont leave hungry. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable and our food came out really quickly (eat in). They even came out and asked if everything was ok. (I never had any complications with my order so there was no incentive to do so. It was just spectacular customer service). The flavours are on point (although nothing beats authentic Japanese cuisine) and it was not smothered in sauce. I would totally recommend for anyone looking for something fresh and new to this area! Everything on the menu is under $20 with most items under $15.
