My family and I had the chance to visit this location during the long weekend, and all I can say is wow! From the service, to the food, to the ambience, all were simply amazing!

They had an awesome selection of food for adults and kids, both of which were fairly priced. We stayed here for breakfast, and I personally tried the 8oz NY steak & eggs, which were delicious! The steak came out sizzling hot and was cooked perfectly to a medium rare. Where else can you find this kind of quality food for $20?!

The managers/owners of the restaurant personally came by to our table a few times to check on us and make sure we were enjoying our stay. In my experience, it's little things like that which tend to leave a great impression on the guests.

I expected this Smitty's to be on par with other places such as Denny's. However, from the moment we walked in, we were greeted by very kind staff and given the quality of care you would expect from a five star restaurant. I would highly recommend this location to family and friends. If we ever swing by Cranbrook again, we will definitely...

Was in town over the long weekend, and we decided to stay at the Travelodge hotel. Tried lunch the day we got in, and had breakfast before we left town.

Lunch was good! Variety of options, welcoming atmosphere and better option than fast food. Items came out quick and hot. Kids loved the fries and the chocolate cake dessert.

The Smitty's breakfast buffet was impressive! Such a large variety of food: my favorites were the hashbrown bake item (delicious!!), the perogies and the pancakes. For the price I thought it was a generous spread ($16ish for adults, $6ish for kids? please correct me if I am wrong!). My kids loved the variety as well, the staff was very kind and helpful when offering suggestions off the menu and My husband ordered the waffle. In our opinion the Pancakes and Waffles at Smitty's are better tasting than Dennys. Just our opinion but these taste like the ones my mom made as kids.

Never been to a Smitty's before but this location has shown us it a great option for breakfast and lunch. Keep up the great work, your staff...

We stopped in at this Smitty’s on our drive to Idaho from Calgary; the service and food were so good that we decided to stop in again on our drive back to Calgary! We tried the hot wings, nachos, the burger and the quesadilla. Everything was delicious, but the appetizers were definitely our favourites. The nachos had a great amount of toppings and all of them tasted fresh, and the chicken wings were a great size and cooked perfectly. They also had gluten free options and the server was well versed about dietary restrictions, which was an unexpected surprise as that’s not always the case on road trip stops.

In addition to the food, the service was 10/10. Our server Love was very kind and efficient, and the manager Vik stopped by to check in on how we were liking everything. This will definitely be our go to stop whenever we drive...
