barBURRITO — Restaurant in Dartmouth

I frequent this bar burrito and every time I go the staff is always amazing, the service is great and the food is also great! I am leaving two stars though so maybe you guys could take in consideration my suggestion!

I ordered from skip the dishes and I got a beef B-Box combo with only fries and no chips, the containers that they use to come in had a divider in the middle so the fries and chips wouldn’t get all over the burrito wrapper and get soggy. Well I guess recently they switched containers and when I opened my order I was not happy. Since the new containers don’t have dividers like the old ones my fries ended up all over my burrito wrapper and made it incredibly soggy. My suggestion is if you’re gonna keep the plastic containers with no divider don’t use them for skip!! Skip drivers don’t really care about the food sometimes so they will just throw things in their seats and drive around which obviously causes food to shift around. I really liked Bar burrito when they started out, but the company has grown into another fast food chain. Rapid growth has brought with it familiar issues. Quality has taken a backseat to quantity as it often does. My last experience illustrates my point.

I made an online order and showed up a few minutes after the designated pick up time. The order hadn't been started yet, there was a line at the counter, and of course multiple skip drivers chomping at the bit to get their orders. I waited an extra half hour, which I'm happy to do, provided I get high quality food. To my disappointment, I received three tacos, each with one piece of chicken I would liken to a chicken nugget. Also, the rest of the order was lacking, what's the word? Oh yeah! Toppings.

It's not entirely on the workers. The company needs to slow down and focus on consistent quality. Put Skip on pause, and make sure every order is something everyone in corporate would want to eat too. I'm pulling for you, but hey, if you want to be taco bell, that's...

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this BarBurrito location (50 Tacoma Dr, Dartmouth) on June 28, 2025 around 9:30 PM. The employee who served me was rude, dismissive, and acted like she didn’t care at all about my order or my dietary needs.

I clearly asked for less rice, more beans, and more veggies — but my burrito was packed with rice and barely any veggies. I have an egg allergy and requested sour cream on the side, mango salsa, and chipotle BBQ sauce. She spoke to me rudely, embarrassed me in front of other customers, and denied that chipotle BBQ was even available.

On top of that, I asked for my burrito to be cut in half — she ignored this and wrapped it whole. I double-checked with her that sauces were packed. When I got home, there were no sauces at all. I travel from Halifax because I enjoy BarBurrito — I usually go to 4 Forest Hills Pkwy where the staff are amazing — but this location completely ruined my experience. I will never return to...
