I have had ongoing issues with this store. A few weeks ago, I wanted to buy plain pumpkin scones (and they make lovely ones) and was told by the staff that they aren't 'allowed' to sell the plain ones due to strict instructions from the franchisor - they have to be sold with frosting and some sort of gooey syrup drizzled over. This made no sense at all from a customer's perspective particularly as I was prepared to place the minimum order for plain ones but they still said no. I thought that was the end of it but lo and behold, I was in the store this morning to purchase something else and I see a tray of plain pumpkin scones in the display case so I asked if I could purchase a dozen and was told that I couldn't as they aren't allowed to sell plain ones. I love the danishes, the croissants and the scones here. They will even do orders on some less common breads like Hallah bread if you...
