So this is my third time. Unfortunately it is in a steady decline. The place has a wonderful atmosphere. The hostess was great and polite. Our server however. Started with a coffee, smoothie and water. Forgot the water. Took our order and never seen again until she wanted to get paid. Then was quick as a whip. That is disappointing. I will have to blame managers on that. If the servers sections are too large that they can't give proper service. I think that might have to be considered. Food was at best par. Ordered an omelet which was a fried scrambled egg mix folded in half. Very simple fix. Big Eric's sells grill rounds of all sizes to give an omelet body and depth. If not roll the omelet for flare in presentation. Also ordered big breakfast with egg waffle and breakfast meats and advertised baked beans. Sorry waffle was a sysco product as well as the canned beans. People will wait when plates look robust and detailed. I understand the volume requires fast pace. I suggest take a beat and pay attention to detail. Might add a minute possibly two. The customer won't complain if effort is shown. I have been in hospitality for 40 years. Food doesn't impress me. But it's disappointing when it lacks any pride. I usually go out for service. That definitely needs work. I did tip understanding the restaurant industry. I want to hold managers responsible. You need to focus on customer service. As for the kitchen manager or chef. Again needs eye for detail plate presentation. Very simple fixes would have made the plates pop with no added cost. Except a minor bump in kitchen labor cost. I apologize...
Read moreI visited earlier this week with a friend and had a fantabulous experience from the food to the service, met the owner too who was very sweet and welcoming!
I decided to bring my partner today, driving for 45 minutes thinking this will be well worth the trip. Upon arrival, we weren’t even greeted and just taken to our table. Waited 15 minutes without any service or water. About 4 parties that came after us were offered drinks and had their orders taken. I had to stand up and request a server, and after another 5 minutes, someone finally comes and starts off by saying “what can I get you”
No greeting, no introduction, no apology for the delay. After expressing my frustration, the response was “we were in a different section”. Mind you there are 4-5 tables in that section, it’s not hard to tell who has been served and who hasn’t.
Obviously, I ended up leaving the restaurant with a lot of regret and bitterness about the whole experience. Surely this was a great way to lose my appetite and excitement to eat!
Seems like staff need more training on the alphabets of customer service and greeting/communicating with customers as these details make or break a dine-in experience. No customer should be seated 15 minutes without being served or greeted. Hopefully, this is just another challenge to deal with in a relatively new location, and things will be better...
Read moreThis was my 2nd visit to this location the first being the first week this locatiooutstanding.n was open. On that occasion the 2 of us found the food and service was acceptable but nowhere near. Yesterday on our 2nd visit things changed drastically and not for the better. There were 5 of us on this occassion and while our waitress was excellent when it came to our drink orders and making our menu selections, that appeared to be the point at which things broke down.. our order was placed at about 11:05 am1. By 11:45 our food had not arrived and we waved our waitress down and inquired about our order. At this point she went to the kitchen and lo and behold at 1150 our food arrived. Most of the food was at a lukewarm stage, but my eggs and sausages were cold so i sent them back. At noon our toast (or perhaps I should say warm bread because it was hardly toasted) arrived, followed by my reordered breakfast. This time the eggs were at least warm but the sausages were still cold. I see a lot of reviewers here are excusing this type of service because this is a new restaurant, but you have even open for nearly a month and these problems should be solved by now. There are too many good breakfast locations within 3 or 4 minutes of your location that offer better service, quality and value than your location. As such it is highly doubtful that we would...
