Cheese Curds Gourmet Burgers + Poutinerie — Restaurant in Dartmouth

We came in for burger week, excited to try the two featured burgers. I want to start out with that the burgers were incredible and we loved them! But sadly, as soon as we walked in, we were not greeted, not even when we stood at the counter. One guy started to come over but as I went to grab two drinks, he immediately turned and walked away and didn't come back for a bit. When he finally did, he was extremely rude as we both were friendly. He didn't listen to what we were trying to order, cut us off, and had an attitude the whole transaction which made us feel not welcome. When we finally told him exactly what we wanted, he still charged us for a combo we didn't want, as we specified. When the transaction was over with, he didn't thank us and rudely yelled "next" to the customers behind us. It was completely uncalled for and was overall bad customer service. This is normally an excellent place with great food and service. But to be closed on Sunday during burger week was certainly disappointing.

Update: Response to owner as I can’t seem to directly respond. The review was the same as Upstreet as we like both restaurants and were equally disappointed to find them closed. Honestly Upstreet was our #1 pick and when found it closed went to your business next door as it was our #2 pick. As we didn’t check the opening hours for Upstreet we didn’t want to Make the same mistake with Cheesecurds. But Mike, your own site says you were closed on Windmill, see additional picture. Plus it sure looked deserted. Hence the disappointed review. This is not a reflection of service or food just the fact you certainly looked closed during Burger week. Recently my brother and his family came to visit. We decided to go and have our meal at cheese curds on Windmill Road. With my wife and I food and my brother and his family food came to $105.36 plus tip. The food was quite tasty. But when I asked for extra tartar sauce for the haddock tips and Fries the girl told me that it was an extra charge. Really!?!? After spending over $100 you have to charge extra for a little container of tartar sauce. I think that will be one of the last times that we go there.
