Hungry Hut — Restaurant in Dartmouth

Went here twice this weekend after being suggested to me by a teacher and they are amazing! Right off the bat you can tell it's family run just off the atmosphere and the way they almost treat you like family. I had the donair plate the first time , and a double cheeseburger with bacon, fries and a side order of gravy. Both times the food was fantastic. Best tasting food I've had in a long time. And most of all they do not skimp on ingredients! That donair plate was LOADED! And I'm definitely full after this meal! The last two times I was in Dartmouth I searched "hidden gems" in hopes of finding a place like this place and I'm glad to have gotten to meet this family of smart, caring hard working individuals. Great food and friendly vibes. Ate here 3 times over the past few weeks and been happy as can be every time. They are run by a very friendly and thoughtful family, who always ask how your doing with a smile on their faces. They are also very quick and efficient, from my 3 times they were exact with the estimate they gave me (20mins on average).

Food: the pizza was really good, especially with the side of cooked pepperoni (not spicy at all so anyone can handle it) Wings were exactly how i like them (i i asked for well done with sauce on the side) cheese sticks hit the spot, and ceaser wraps were decent with real fresh bacon and chicken but i feel needed more sauce.

Hungry Hut has been a staple in the Dartmouth community for as long as I can remember. The food is amazing, especially the donair pockets (my fave), but the service is really what makes this place special. My partner and I both used to come here as kids and Hana always lets us know how sweet it is that she sees us together now. Everyone is always positive, smiling and happy to see you, whether it's been a day, a week or a year you can always count on the Family of Hungry Hut to accept you and welcome you home.
