Souper Duper — Restaurant in Dartmouth

Used to absolutely love this place but in recent months a lot of things seem to have changed. 1st my personal favorite item on the menu was taken off, I understand many reason this could have happened and I had continued to order food afterwards. In the last month or so... The quality of the food doesn't seem the same as before. I'm not sure if they are under new management or just have new staff members but there is no longer consistency to their food. Ex: recently got the Chicken Pot Pie Soup that is supposed to come with a pie topping, the first couple of times I got this soup while it was their special I got the pie topping in a separate bag so it didn't get soggy but the last time I ordered this soup, the staff just crushed up a couple of crackers on the soup for the topping. Also the last time I got a chicken wrap (that I have ordered in the past) it tasted different (maybe using new/different spices) I actually pulled the chicken out of it and threw it away but I did eat the rest of the ingredients in the wrap. I'm very disappointed because this is restaurant is close to my work place but I no longer feel like ordering here due to the many instances of inconsistency in their food. What a quaint and sweet looking place! It has greens, pinks and reds that make you WANT to eat something. The food was delicious! I had the mac and cheese with bacon, green onions and Doritos on top, and the offerings were generous. I was satisfied-full with the meal. My mom enjoyed the chicken pot pie soup with a lovely biscuit. Oh, and getting a cookie for free is a treat enough! You feel very comfy there, and the food sings "comfort food". I just spent $120 on sandwiches, we get home and one of the items has bacon on it. I very specifically asked for no bacon, havent eaten pork in decades. This isnt unusual. Mistakes happen. However....they refused to make it right. They literally refused to make a new sandwich. I have never seen a restaurant refuse to correct their mistake. Its like they were trying to say that it was my fault. Just very odd.
