Fatburger Ladner — Restaurant in Delta

I was so excited to try Fatburger for the first time. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. When I walked in and went to the counter, the employee who worked the counter looked so unimpressed when she saw me. Like how dare I disrupt her conversation in the kitchen. Eventually she decided to take my order, however, she had the dirtiest look on her face while doing so and very rudely replied to my request and even gave me my change and drink cup with so little effort I had to catch them while she rudely almost dropped them. Apparently I need to reach my arm over so far towards her end of the counter. While she didn’t even look my way while doing so. My gut said to just leave at this point but I really wanted to try the burgers. I wish I could say it was delicious but it wasn’t at all. Very dry and salty, I was disappointed. I might try a different location though, just to give it another chance. Maybe the next restaurant will have a front of house employee who actually wants to represent the business with a positive attitude. Fingers crossed.

I’ve got to add to this because about 45min to and hour after having a few bites of the burger I’ve been so sick. I’m so glad I didn’t eat very much however this is not ok at all. Was it expired, raw, contaminated, I don’t know. But I hope they do a thorough clean and get all new products. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. What a disgusting and...

The price for a kids meal is cheaper than any place else so we ordered for ourselves as well. The oil is clearly far too hot or needs to be changed! Probably both. 3 pieces of breaded chicken strips @ $10.00? cut my mouth! The chicken was stringy and difficult to chew. Terrible at any price! Poutine obviously uses gravy from a can so the only taste was salt! I can’t believe we paid nearly $40.00 for two adults and a three year old and the only one who could eat was the 3 year old! Such a disappointment! I have no problem paying more for food I can eat but exorbitant prices for unpalatable food is a costly lesson and left me feeling ripped off and because I had no appetite for further chewing I was also left still feeling hungry! Another evening of ramen noodles! ...

Well I've not been into a Fat Burger I haven't liked, but if i had to rank them against each other, the location in Ladner would be very high on the list. The restaurant was super clean and the staff great. I had a cheese and bacon burger with fries along with their traditional lemonade fir my drink. I was advised it would take about 10 minutes as it was cooked to order, it probably took a few minutes less. Even If they had said 20 minutes, the wait would have been worth it. Nice and hot, very well presented and looked like the picture on the menu. I don't go to Ladner that often, but if I'm in the area again and in the mood for a burger, I know...
