Rice and Noodle (Ladner) — Restaurant in Delta

I was amazed how good this place was! Ordered pad Thai with prawns. Thought it would have the quality of a food court restaurant but I was hungry and there wasn't much open. I was completely wrong! It was probably the best pad thai I'd ever had! The prawns were jumbo (as opposed to so many other places), cooked perfectly, fresh, and there were a bunch in there! The woman working the till (possibly one of the owners but I'm not sure) was so so nice. The man in the back cooking the food looked to me like an experienced chef (I actually saw flames coming off the pan and I knew it wasn't an accident lol). The restaurant was nice and clean with lots of tables to sit at and the service was super fast. It's not fancy inside but if you want a tasty, well cooked, quality meal at a decent price and don't mind that you're not sitting in a fancy restaurant (and probably paying fancy prices too) then I highly recommend checking...

Have used Rice & Noodle b4 & food is excellent! Unfortunately tonight pick up experience was dreadful!! Orderedon Doordash app, got text to say ready for pick up, husband went, gave my name & cell # but staff would not give him the $23.87 order, he came bk for my cell then returned & showed them the pick up ready text, they still wouldn’t give him the order!!🤬 I then went to get our money bk & of course they wouldn’t because it was ordered through Doordash!! No responsibility taken by Rice & Noodle a tall!! So so disappointed as we always support local businesses! And of course Foordash won’t give us our money back either as order is there for PICK UP!!!...

Food was good! We ordered a Chicken Kung Pow and Beef Chowmein, veggies tasted fresh, good portion size of each protein. Overall good sized portions for 2 people. FOH (Front of House) service could use some work; just lack organization and efficiency when putting together & calling orders. Patrons were lingering around the cash register, which doesn’t help the situation at all. Get someone behind the front counter who is assertive and can yell out order numbers.
