A Great Dinner at Tasty Indian Bistro
We just had dinner at Tasty Indian Bistro, and it was such a lovely experience that I had to share. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed by a cozy, inviting atmosphere. But what really made our evening special was the incredible service we received from our server, Jas.
Jas was simply wonderful. She greeted us with the kind of smile that makes you feel right at home. Even though she was taking care of several tables and handling all sorts of requests, she never missed a beat. It was clear she’s incredibly hardworking, yet she made it all look effortless.
One thing that really stood out was how much Jas knew about the menu. She didn’t just take our order; she helped us choose, offering suggestions that perfectly matched what we were in the mood for. Whether it was deciding on the best appetizers, entrées, or the perfect drink, Jas had great recommendations for everything. Her knowledge of the cocktails, whiskey, and bourbon options was impressive, and her suggestions made our meal even more enjoyable.
And speaking of the food—it was fantastic. Tasty Indian Bistro really lives up to its name. Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. You could tell the chefs put a lot of care into each plate, and it made the whole experience even better.
But honestly, it was Jas who made the night memorable. She was so friendly and attentive, making us feel like we were her top priority, even though we knew she had plenty of other tables to look after. It’s rare to find someone who’s not only great at their job but does it with such genuine warmth.
All in all, our dinner at Tasty Indian Bistro was a great experience. The food was delicious, and Jas’s outstanding service made the evening special. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and even better service, Tasty Indian Bistro should definitely be...
Read morewe booked a reservation at tasty indian bistro for my mom’s birthday, but the experience was disappointing. one of our dishes had a small facial hair in it. my mom and sister had already eaten a piece of the flatbread from the right side, but when i grabbed my piece i immediately noticed the hair and put it down. we pointed it out right away. although the hair was small, seeing hair in food takes away from the appeal of a dish and can ruin the dining experience, even in a home cooked meal. the manager came and did apologize, but the response felt more defensive than sincere, with repeated questioning and justifications that made the situation feel minimizing rather than empathetic. the dish was replaced, yet the first serving was cold and the second slightly underdone. what was most surprising is that nothing was offered to make up for it, not comping the entree, not a complimentary dessert, and no gesture to acknowledge the birthday. other restaurants, even casual ones, handle this type of issue with more hospitality. what makes it worse is that the reservation system asks if guests are celebrating a special occasion, but nothing is actually done to elevate the experience. this sets up expectations only to leave guests disappointed. in no way do we think we are entitled to free food, and we understand that some people may take advantage of restaurant “perks.” however, letting that affect how you treat guests who do not abuse the system is not how a restaurant should be run. the combination of all these things, on a special occasion, was disappointing to say the least, especially as people who visit both locations often. tasty has always been our go-to for indian food on special and casual occasions. normally the food and service are great, but this visit fell far short of the high standards the...
Read moreThis was my first time and Tasty's and I am waiting to go back! Hands down the best north indian food I've had in a REALLY long time. We started off with apps, which IMO are the absolute best things on the menu, then had our main course, followed by dessert.
Gol gappe- these weren't anything special. I would skip these. Tasty sliders with chicken- these were AMAZING! Order these, you will not be disappointed. Its a tandoori chicken they use and oh my gosh, the flavors of the chicken and the sauce/chutney they use is wonderful. Tasty tacos with fish- these were ok. The fish was good but the taco itself was ok. The flavor could be enhanced. Paneer tikka- this is the BEST paneer tikka I've ever had. The paneer itself is so nice and soft, definitely melts in your mouth. The spices are perfect. The adjoining chutney is amazing! Chicken biryani- if you've ever had authentic south indian biryani you will be disappointed. Tasty's isn't bad... but I've had better. Not as flavorful as I'd hoped. Id skip this and try something else. Butter chicken- This was good. A little too sweet for me, but not bad. Cardamom dream bar- if you are deciding which dessert to get, GET THIS if you don't hate cardamom. So soft, not too sweet, flavors were exceptional. The accompanying ice cream was also really good, it tasted like pistachio/rose syrup? Not sure but it was yummy. Ferrero Rocher Jar- This was really good as well as long as you like chocolate. But nothing special IMO
I will definitely be going back to try different items on the menu! If you have young children, they do not have a specific children's menu. They can however make plain salted fries and make a basic unspicy butter chicken or shahi...
