The Mexican chicken bowl ($17) combines fresh vegetables and hearty proteins. Warm pulled chicken is hit with a bit of chili spice for flavour and braised until tender. It goes nicely with the caramelized peppers and onions that along with the zesty salsa and guacamole create softer elements in the bowl. Crispy red cabbage, shredded carrots, and sprouts add fresh elements to the bowl. And to ensure you’re not hungry in an hour, there’s also brown rice and black beans for sustenance. Yet, what makes the bowl great is the chipotle sauce that I doused onto everything, giving the individual ingredients flavour without being overly salty. A similar base of chicken, peppers, and onions is used in the chicken quesadilla ($18), along with plenty of gooey cheese of course. I liked that it’s well toasted for crunch, especially against the cool smooth condiments. The quesadilla is shareable as the order arrives with three thick slices and makes for a hefty meal for one.

Good spot for healthy brunch, very vegetarian friendly. I got 3 items from the deli (make your own platter): the tofu, quinoa with edamame and roasted veggies. The tofu was amazing, seasoning on point. Veggies were fresh, quinoa nice and juicy. One thing that threw me off was that all food was super cold. I guess I expected at least the roasted veggies to be warmed up. Food was really filling and they have generous portion size, got a bag to finish it later. I also got the super latte. Tasted mostly like regular latte, maybe a bit creamier and not very strong coffee taste. The ambience is great, very lively, there’s health items to shop too. Service was fast and everyone was very polite and welcoming, despite how busy it got. Overall, great place to grab healthy food, would come again!

Stopped in here on our way through town Thanksgiving weekend. Unfortunately the stop wasn’t well timed as I was really hoping for a nice wrap or sandwich and they were not fixing those items at the time. They were pretty picked over of the food left in the counter. Settled for samosa that turned out to be delish, the kale Caesar salad that was just ok, and a spanakopita that was also really good. Hope to go back to try it again and have better luck with options. Staff was really nice and apologetic for the lack of options at the time.
