Matt at the bar was knowledgeable and an excellent host, despite the taproom being quite busy. The atmosphere is tops... peak Muskoka vibes. Cool little retail store too. Reuben sandwich was awesome. It's hard to mess one up, but this one was really good and they didn't overdo it with too much meat like many classic diners do. It also paired perfectly with a Sourdough IPA (a limited offering from their X-Brewers series). The fries were also stupid good!! I have drank their beer from the LCBO for years, but this is the first time being in the brewery to taste all their other rotational taps that aren't available across the province. I sampled six of the 18 they had on tap and they were all very well crafted. Highly recommend. Will be back next time I'm in the area.

Coming here is always an adventure. You never know, what kind of beer they come up with next. I like that one can get a taste, before one orders. It's a great hang-out place, sometimes with life music. As an extra bonus, there are some nice table games, one can use, to make the visit more entertaining. But this place would not be as good, without the food truck outside. The menu of the truck is not large, but man is the food ever so good. You have to oder outside, right at the truck's window. They do bring the order into Sawdust City though, while you can start with a nice, fresh cold beer. I think, there should be tablets on each table, from which you can order your food and pay as well, while you are sitting, sipping on your beer. BUT WATCH OUT, and NEVER< EVER !!!! cross the line to the store part, with a beer in your hand. I did not know it was forbidden, under the thread of a death penalty. I accidentally set my foot over the line once and had a staff member literally loosing it on me, without even trying to have a conversation first. This was bad enough of an experience, that I never wanted to come back.

One of the best breweries in the Muskoka area. Large tap list of almost 20 beers. Many different styles with new beers being added frequently. Great spot for lunch or dinner. Large Patio seating area and plenty of room inside as well. Live music typically on the weekends inside. Large storefront for any beer you want to take home plus a good selection of swag if you are looking for any sawdust merch. Good amount of parking of site and street parking in the area as well. If you are looking at doing beef flights instead of pints they are currently doing flights on the patio. This place is a must-go-to if you are looking to hit up a brewery in Muskoka.

If you haven't tried their beer, what are you waiting for? Sam clearly is a lifetime member in the pantheon of Beer Gods. Add in a fantastic facility + awesome team and it's a winning combination. The beer is legendary and never disappoints. The food offerings have continued to evolve and somehow get even better. The (fairly) recent addition of a patio is a bonus since it does get busy. In fact, that's my only issue - sometimes, especially in summer, we're not able to stay for food because there are no tables available. Good to see they haven't changed their values in the six years I've been visiting, even with their popularity exploding.

The bar is great - lots of selection (beer only - of course) & board games. It seems like a spot for the locals as well as some tourists. There's a wall behind the bar full of beer steins belonging to their regulars. And you can buy almost everything on tap to go in their retail shop. The food is standard issue food truck food .... nothing to write home about and the value for money isn't great. $12 for just a non-fresh burger (no sides). Tip: you order outside at the food truck & they bring it in for you. There is no table service so if you're thirsty head to the bar asap. Food truck = CASH ONLY Bar inside - accepts cards and cash

We came on a Saturday afternoon and started out on the patio, which was a nice place to sit and enjoy the nice weather, but the outside bar only did cans so the options were a bit limited (but good!). We ended up heading inside to enjoy the full bar selection, and were glad we did because they had some great beers on tap that weren't available outside in cans. Service was great, and with such a wide variety of interesting beers, there should be something for everyone to enjoy, regardless of how adventurous you are feeling that day.
