Waves Coffee House - Mountain Highway — Restaurant in District of North Vancouver

Dropped my review to three stars because an extra $2 surcharge for dairy free milk in my smoothie today was just wrong. We all know that dairy free and dairy cost the same to purchase these days. Will change my review when this oversight is remedied. I do like this spot for the air conditioning, many outlets and great wifi.

With many outlets to plug in your device. Good spot for sitting by yourself or meeting up with friends, good supply of pre-made food. Interesting info board with local business cards and flyers. Dairy free hot chocolate option! Occasional gluten free and vegan baked...

They have this employee that works in the evenings on the weekends, he usually works alone. He prefers so spend his time sitting in the back area where he cant be seen, sometimes there is nobody serving customers for 15 to 20 minutes at a time. I have seen him in the back alley vaping, I dont know what he spends the rest of the time doing buts its really annoying. I just ordered a coffee which he forgot and now he is in the back somewhere and I have to wait for him to emerge. I asked him to make me the coffee if he could and he actually forgot for a second time. 35 minutes later...
