Might be the worse customer service I received in a restaurant. Walked in with my wife at 2pm. We were the only customers. We were not greeted nor asked if we were here for a dine in or take out. ((We were there for dine in)). We walked to the counter and glanced at the menu. The lady left to go in the back without saying a word and only showed up about 5 minutes after. We ordered our food: jerk chicken meal for me, chicken curry roti and a side of plantains for my wife. That's the first time I heard the lady's voice- "no plantain". And she disappeared in the kitchen again without me getting a chance to ask for a beef patty. Hasn't asked us if its dine in yet, no drinks offered, no water at the table where we were sitting. That's when the sketchy noise started- guess what - everything was being microwaved. Meanwhile a lady customer walked in. Food came in take out boxes and the lady completely ignored me as she started chit chatting with the other customer. I asked for hot sauce and she said the don't have. I tried to pay with my master card and she blamed me when the payment didn't go through. Strange when the machine clearly says no connection. She defended her wire connections. Never regretted paying 15% tips before that day. Foodwise- jerk chicken EXTREMELY dry. Came with salad of brown lettuce. Yuck. The plantains- more like fried semi ripe bananas. Chicken curry roti? More like a soggy doughy wrap of potato curry sprinkled with some chicken. All in all, worse $35 meal experience ever. Taste of authentic...

Read moreI don't really like to eat out much, especially Caribbean food. This was the first time I've ever been to this restaurant and definitely not my last. The service was great; a very respectful young lady took my order: 2 plates of curry goat and 2 curry goat roti. The restaurant overall had a homey feeling; I liked it. Now, the food—let me tell you, just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Mmmmm! The rice and peas were on point. I ate it with a spoon; no time for a fork. I was not trying to be cute. Curry goat was well seasoned and tender; I ate that with my hands. I did not miss a bite; I was sucking on that bone, making sure I got all that flavor in my mouth. It was so delicious and perfect to my taste buds. I was going to save my roti for later, but I mean, at this point, I ate it too, and it was just as delicious. I would definitely be coming...
