Iām giving this a 5āļø specifically because the overall experience. First things first, itās the food that is judged first and it was great. I had the bowl with potatoes and vegetables. I chose to have chicken with it but I had curry and butter sauces separately in a bowl so I could dip the chicken upon each bite. Butter chicken sauce was amazing. It definitely beat out the curry sauce for my taste buds. I also had one samosa with its sauce. Also Outstanding. The service woman was knowledgeable and didnāt hesitate to answer questions appropriately because I purposely chose to ask several questions. I specifically came from Houston to review food so I had my fair share or questions for recommendations. To add to that, the environment was clean! They had up to date music playing on a clear sound system that showcased its clarity at the right volume while you eat. I hate when Iām eating and I feel like the music is drowning out my thoughts and they did not have that feeling. Lastly they had enough marketing and Merch for āBon ⢠Vivantsā like myself. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in expecting something quite nice as they are well reviewed. Experience is very similar to Subways with a modular/pick your own style. I had a butter chicken bowl with grilled veg, rice and a garlic naan and then chose some salad items which were placed on top of the hot curry.. not a big fan of warm lettuce.
Grilled veg were under cooked and still crunchy, Chicken was dry and there wasn't enough sauce to compensate. Price was high for what you get, Our bill came to $36 for 2 bowls + 2 naans with no drink - Not high for a normal restaurant but this is the type of place where they expect you to clear your own table (McDonald's style) and certainly was no more satisfying than a similar fast food experience at any of the others around. I wouldn't go back at this price point.
Feeling generous with 3 Stars as at least the Naan bread was good, freshly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLiterally walked in to this place because I saw two guys eating a very tempting looking wrap at the table by the window...It was my 1st time there so I asked for a little assistance which the gentleman behind the counter so graciously provided. After he gave me all the information I needed, I ordered the bowl with basmati rice as a base, cauliflower and curried chickpeas as toppings, veggies and their famous spicy Scorpion sauce. He even threw in a side of naan bread so I could taste it. I devoured that bowl with conviction but also somewhat subconsciously because it was sooo delicious. The portion was very generous but I did finish my whole order...just because...
I love the concept, which is much like Mucho Burrito, Quesada or even Subway. So if I feel like some quick Indian food, I would really consider this place. Good job! I'll...
