I went in with a friend's son and there were no specials available. I had the number one combo and he took a number two. I think it was but it was shocking to pay about $28 for two trios. I don't think Wendy's is worth it or any fast food place unless you use their coupons. . Sadly the fellow that greeted us said he came from another store and the friend's son said he said he was a manager brought in because he wasn't the original or regular manager. He spent a lot of the time with his back to us when we were at the cash waiting to order. I didn't feel our communications were easy and I tried a compliment and a kind word, but it didn't make things any better and the staff all seem to be nowhere near the front counter but busy cooking and serving the takeout windows. This tall manager seemed from another store, apparently, seem to be busy doing more than one job. The place looks kind of nice in the way it was finished and more like a restaurant than a fast food joint except for the seats and tables. There was actually almost nobody there and it was lunch time. We arrived around 11:36, almost 11:40 and we were there for most of an hour and a couple of people came in but not many. Very surprising for a fast food restaurant that needs to stay in business. Maybe they're business was takeout because the whole staff was kind of busy doing stuff, but they were basically six people inside besides us at lunch time until about 12:30. The burger isn't great. The fries were good enough. Certainly. And without coupons I feel it's way too expensive . Maybe because of the pandemic and a lot more home cooking. I'm used to far better quality food and since I used to eat at a restaurant twice a week, different restaurants and one nice Italian restaurant the same back when prices were much better before the pandemic, I'm kind of shocked that quality has gone down a bit in my humble opinion or was it this quality before? But the prices of certainly gone up! Next time I go for junk food I'll have a coupon for a trio for one person or for two people and not pay those type of prices. I could have eaten at a regular restaurant or one of the breakfast franchises that also serves lunch for roughly the same price with a lot better food quality and individual nice service at the table. The service here was non-existent in fact, and most of it was self-serve for my own drink. Push my own ketchup pop, open my own salt and pepper. Take my own napkins. I had to ask where the cutlery was and they were individually wrapped in Saran wrap. My friend's son said a machine did it but I don't think so. Individual people had to touch the cutlery to wrap it by hand and what's the purpose of that because people are touching it. I was just so very not impressed with this location and this Wendy's restaurant. . Really too bad. The manager that came in from another store was sort of apologetic but it didn't change anything that his back was to us more than he was taking our order at the cash and facing us and the training of. Have a nice day. Thanks for shopping at Wendy's or whatever was totally non-existent and I was quite frankly,...
Read moreActually I went to this Wendy's with a friend and her nephew on a Saturday for a short day drive and a bit of shopping elsewhere and we were hungry and I had coupons. I was shocked that the taste great because even though it's a cheaper menu usually everything is good but this was a Wendy's in the West Island and I've never eaten here before. There's one closer to my place on Decarie Boulevard that's always fine. Well the meal didn't taste great but it was a lot of bang for the buck for only $5 for fries and a drink and a burger. However my stomach was upset afterwards and I suspect some meat. He must have gone cheap since they sold out and Dave Thomas the founder has died and now I see her till they adjusted sings and get these bad reviews they are putting in crappier meat than even McDonald's offers. Biochemists learned that the Nick easy formula of real beef was ears and lips and anus with anti-nausea medications coloring other stuff to make it thicker and A protein that used to be worms in the 50s and 60s and became cheap vegetables with protein cheaper than Soya orotein that they also have to treat in order to make it palatable. Well I didn't find it particularly palatable at Wendy's for the cheaper menu special advertised in the coupons which was $10 gets you two burgers two fries and two drinks because I was sick afterwards with a very upset stomach and I suspect that burger. And when we did a Google search to find a Wendy's there weren't many to choose from and we had to drive back to get to this one so we could use the coupon and it wasn't worth it in any way shape or form for that Spirit particular dining experience. And the place was packed. The West Island of Montreal is limited and everybody fights for the same things and keeps them busy if they're successful at all. And restaurants is one of those things they have to work choices up in the Montreal West...
Read moreI used to eat at Mc Donald’s a lot, but one day my friend told me to eat from this Wendy’s and we went there and order 2 combo sandwich spicy chicken and I loved it. So now every time I go near this area I always order and sometimes online too, I think I would not only tell my friends but I will force them to eat there. 😆 thank you Wendy’s. Additionally, I love how organized all the stuff was, from staff to the food, it was crazily fast and we did not have to wait for long, and food was delicious. The staff was really very polite and respectful toward the customers, even the atmosphere there was so great and the hygiene was pretty well maintained. There were a lot of customers there, I would have panicked while doing job there, but staff was marvellously great with there job. The least thing I would eat is the salad, because I am from a different country and we usually only eat somethings from salad, but my friend forced me to eat southwest avocado chicken salad 🥗, I loved every bit of it, It was so delicious I would definitely...
