They have a very diverse and reasonably priced menu that can satisfy the discerning palates of both carnivores and pasta lovers. Every day, you can ask for the additional choices not listed on the menu. Along with many other amazing appetizers, I highly recommend the grilled marinated octopus or the crab cakes as one of your entrées. You'll be amazed at how tasty they are. As for the main dishes, they are always of high quality, delicious, and beautifully presented. Whether you choose the lobster ravioli, the short rib, the lamb chops , the filet mignon or the fresh fish, you will understand why so many people give it a 5 star rating. As for desert, I recommend the tiramisu. Your senses will thank you and you can thank chef Nick for giving us such a great dining experience. I find their markup on all the wines, beers and liquor are much better priced than other restaurants of similar quality. Their wine menu is extensive concentrating mostly on Italian and Californian vintages. So if you have a special occasion, why not celebrate with a vintage Super Tuscan? You will also be impressive with a fantastic selection of single malts and grappa. My husband and I had the pleasure of having our wedding ceremony and reception at La Verità in August. We want to thank the team at La Verità for making it a dream day. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we recommend anyone to get married/host their event at La Verità.

Services: The team provided best in class service throughout our event. From guiding us during our wedding planning, to installing our decor for the reception and for the service during that day, everything was perfect. All of our guest were impressed by the quality of their customer service.

Ceremony: We tied the knot under their marquee tent. It was simply magic. Being under the tent surrounded by plants & flowers created for a very intimate and special place.

Reception: The minute we got out of our ceremony, Derek, one of the owners, was waiting for us with our favorite cocktail. What a way to kick off the festivities. We spent our night dancing on the dance floor in between courses. The team was great to keep up with the pace of the evening.

Food: The food was simply divine. The canapés were savory. The limoncello shrimps were one of our guest favorites. We had selected a 5-course meal, and everything was impeccable. Almost every guest told us that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. We were impressed that everyone got served at the same time which is hard to manage for a group of 50 peoples. It's our first night in Montreal and it's my birthday! 🥳 My daughter made reservations at La Verità. They started us off with a plate of focaccia, olives and sundried tomatoes. This was our first meal of the day and it waa yummy, it opened up our appetite. 😋

We had three different staff looking after us. They suggested items not on the menu so to start, we selected the Burrata with pistachios, pomegranate and a honey balsamic drizzle with sourdough strips. This was a delicious starter, and very filling!😋

Our mains were the Lasagna and the Lobster Ravioli in a cream sauce. My daughter loved her Lobster Ravioli 🦞, my lasagna could feed two. Although it was meaty and cheesey, something about the pasta was lacking, a four out of five for me.

We ended our night with desserts, but before we ordered, the staff was nice enough to bring out a slice of Tirimasu with a lit candle. I'm not a big fan of Tirimasu, (but I truly appreciated the thought). We ordered the apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and the carrot cake with walnuts. These desserts were exceptional!😋😋

The staff were attentive and friendly, and a special shout out to Nolan, who was so kind and helpful, teaching us proper French translationings.🤭😜
