Eclipse — Restaurant in Dorval

I visited this restaurant this evening and, to be fair, the food was genuinely good. The nachos in particular were well-prepared and tasty. Unfortunately, the experience was soured by a rude and inappropriate comment from our waitress.

When I inquired about the portion size of the nachos, she responded with, “I cannot determine your appetite.” As someone who has put on weight while grieving the loss of a close family member, the implication behind that comment was clear and deeply hurtful. It was unnecessary and unprofessional.

Good food means very little when paired with that kind of treatment. I hope the restaurant takes steps to ensure all guests are treated with basic respect...

The staff at Eclipse SAVED ME last weekend! After my flight was cancelled and I had to wait in line at the airport for HOURS, I checked into my hotel across the street, exhausted and starving. To my dismay, everything seemed to be closed...except for Eclipse. I ran over, arriving ~10 min before they closed. The host (I think his name was Mike) and bartender, Karl were absolute life savers. They let me order some food to go and a drink while I waited. I would usually never wander in just before close, but these were special circumstances, and I was so grateful they didn't give me grief about it. Plus, the best part was the food was great too! Even to go, the cavatelli...

We stayed at the Sheraton and had dinner at there restaurant the Eclipse. If I could give them 10 star it still wouldn't be enough There open till 11:00 and we got there at 10:00 and they still seated us . They were short handed but you wouldn't have know it .I had the french onion soup which was excellent and the wife had a club sandwich, we ordered lite so we wouldn't impose on there closing. Well we had such great service the waiter had us there to nearly 12:00 am and even at that was not rushing us out . The food was very good and reasonably priced , the service was superb thanks to Albano . A must try if ever...
