barBURRITO — Restaurant in Edmonton

The food tastes good, but the portioning is wildly inconsistent. I've been here several times, and they frequently get it right. However, this most recent visit, I ordered a large with extra meat. The customer beside me orders the same thing with different protein. We pick identical toppings, but different sauces. By the time our burritos are built, his is twice the size of mine despite them being nearly identical, and to top it off I was double charged for extra meat even though I only got an extra scoop.

This isn't the first time I've had this issue either. Last time I mentioned the discrepancy, I was told that it was because I didn't get lettuce even though there was quite obviously a meager amount of literally every other topping, protein included. This second time I wasn't in the mood to be gaslit, so I paid for my food and left.

Ultimately, I paid over $18 for essentially a regular burrito wrapped in a oversized tortilla. I'll go to the neighbouring location from now on, even though it's out of the way. I've had much better...

I used to come here all the time. But there is one tenured girl who makes the portions so small, you can literally see the scoops half filled. I didn't say anything a few times hoping it was a once or twice thing but it became consistent. I mentioned something nicely once and she added extra, then the next time I came she was training someone new and put such a thin line of rice I just ended up walking out without saying anything and never came back.

I visit other BarBurrito locations now, which is unfortunate because this one is right by my place. But when you only order meat rice and sauce on your burrito, is pretty noticeable when she cheaps out on your only two ingredients and you are left with mostly wrap.

First timer to this Burrito place. Two customers were being served by the male staff at my arrival. A female staff was just starting her shift. The female staff took my order. Ordered two different kinds of Chicken burritos. TBH, the best burritos I ever had. The quantity was very good. One of those could easily feed two people. The ingredients were fresh, and the burritos tasted great. The staff was very obliging and cordial. I have no complaints with food, or service, whatsoever. I would definitely recommend.
