This place is an absolute gem. I ordered the NV Spicy Chicken Burger, and let me tell you, that is hands down one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The bun was so soft, the coleslaw was fresh, the breading on the chicken was crispy and flavourful, and every single bite was tender and juicy. The waitress told me it was breaded right before cooking. The fries also came out hot, fresh, and delicious. Nice and crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside like a good fry should be. We were told even the condiments are made in house from scratch (their ketchup is phenomenal). The atmosphere inside was nice and everything was clean. The waitress we had was super friendly and gave us great service from start to finish; even after we paid our bill and were chatting at the table for a while, she still came by to ask if we wanted water or anything. It's also worth nothing that the prices here are very reasonable. I've paid much more at upscale restaurants for the same meal but this was much better. The quality of food here is just absolutely outstanding. It was so refreshing to finally enjoy a meal where everything was made fresh in house instead of being served overpriced frozen food, which sadly seems to have become the standard at so many restaurants now. I will without a doubt be back again and highly recommend this place to anyone.

I had the chance and pleasure to dine in this gem of a restaurant last weekend. We had ● French Onion soup for starter, Penne Bolognese, Blackened chicken, Butter Chicken and Bread pudding ala mode. The soup is classically prepared, properly caramelized Onion and flavorful broth with melted swiss cheese over a bed of crusty baguette. Blackened chicken is really tasty and satisfying, served with homemade mashed potatoes and roasted veggies, Butter Chicken is tender, well marinated and cooked to perfection. Nice balance of flavors from yogurt to the spices used. Served with fragrant rice, papad and freshly baked Naan bread. Penne Bolognese was awesome. Pasta was cooked Al dente and really soaked the flavors, textures, and hearty meat sauce. We cleansed our palate with Banana Apple raisin bread pudding served warm with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. The cinnamon renders and blended beautifully with apple, smashed banana, and tartness of raisin. Tamed by a generous drizzle of chocolate and caramel sauces. Cozy, clean and familiar decor. Service is always good. Very attentive and prompt. I'm looking forward to try their weekend brunch.

First time checking NV Restaurant out but not the last time! A perfect neighborhood restaurant on the other side of the Henday down lessard Rd. Wouldn’t know it’s there unless you live in the area. Hence why it’s important to spread the word! Small but mighty restaurant offers quite the variety of items. Pastas, curry, fish and chips, etc… Tough to narrow it down but I went with butter chicken which is a recommend dish (as per our server) and the fish and chips. As you can see from the photos the fish pieces were huge and not just batter. Light fluffy batter made them easy to eat without it being too heavy on the tummy. Butter chicken has a kick to it in the spice department but very nice flavours. Naan is always welcome to dip the bread into. Portions big enough to have a little leftover to take home. Service was great! Sat right away with a smile and kind suggestions on some of the menu items. Informative as well. Knew the menu front and back it seems. As the only server on she worked a few tables while not skipping a beat serving us. Overall great experience! Looking forward to returning to check out the brunch next!

My family just had a horrible and abusive experience at this restaurant. We ordered lots of food but we had the nerve to say one item was overcooked. We then had the chef and then owner try to explain over and over again that it wasn't. We never asked for the item to be taken off the bill or anything. We just told them it was not done right. Another item was done poorly as well but we just ignored it. We asked repeatedly for our bill to pay and leave but they wouldn't bring it and just continue to argue in a small busy restaurant with us. My daughter finally convinced them to bring our bill to pay. We felt like we were being held hostage by the owner. Their is many other restaurants in the area so we will definitely never be back. I'm sure when I post this the owner will reply to my comment just proving my point that they can't be critiqued in any way. Anywhere else the restaurant would have just taken the item off the bill or replaced it with one done correctly. Not here though they just try to embarrass you and on our anniversary. You shouldn't have to get say give me the bill over and over again. I have in my 58 years never seen such abusive and quite frankly condescending and priggish service from a chef and owner. I mean we ordered burgers, frys, salad, calamari, chicken wings and braised beef. We thought one thing was done poorer and all Hell broke lose. From now on will will go to the Yummy Kitchen instead. Better food and they actually try to please their costumers. Don't order the calamari either as they bread peppers with it to make the order look fuller. Like I stated before the owner will not be able to contain themselves and I'm sure will respond to my comments which of course just proves my point once again. Stay away unless...

my boyfriends family and i went here to celebrate his fathers birthday. We waited 10 minutes to even be asked about drinks and another 15 to even get them. There seemed to be only 2 servers working and one seemed to be a manager. My boyfriends mother ordered the avocado toast and the avocados were so unripe she couldn't mash them, as well the potatoes she had were unseasoned and most were dry and rock hard. My boyfriend ordered the casedilla and aside from the MASSIVE chunks of onion bigger than quarters there were multiple gray hairs baked into the cheese. My boyfriend’s sister and I had french toast and it was a disaster. They used sour dough which made the crust impossible to cut so we just ate the middle. They tried to caramelize them but they just ended up burning them. The whip cream was straight from a can and they didn't bother to cut the stems off the strawberries. There was chocolate sauce on the french toast that was not disclosed on the menu, am I surprised though? No, because nothing was. As well the menus were dirty, covered in what looked like coffee and who knows what else. There wasn’t any atmosphere unless you count old tables from what seemed to be a fast food chain. When we were tipping we tipped about 9% percent (which i know is a little low) due to our negative experience, the waitress scrunched her nose and was visibly upset which is odd considering she didn’t visit us once unless it was to bring food or fill up coffee once the whole 2 hours we were there. Would not recommend unless you're looking for overpriced food you could make for much much cheaper and...
