Basha Donair & Shawarma — Restaurant in Edmonton

Had my wife pick up an Ashley’s hangover LARGE donair for the hockey game. VERY disappointed in the size of it. I have had this exact same order from this exact same location many times….. DO NOT order ahead over the phone…. It will be small. DO NOT order it through an app it will be small. My work crew ordered ahead of time by phone(I told them they are big and delicious) and we got them they were much smaller than usual…. Something tells me that when no ones watching someone might be “saving money” at our expense. I feel when my wife said it was for my spouse that the same thing happened like sending your wife to the tire shop to get taken advantage of. A large donair should be filling for a regular adult!!!! This is the reason we have boycotted prime time donair I do not want to have to do it to this place as well. ...

The meat quality here is great. Food tastes great! Unfortunately theres a couple things that I find ridiculous. 1, they use the same pita for both a small and large donair. That's pretty cheap, and leads to the next problem which is even more absurd. While all the staff there are very friendly, not one of them know how to wrap a donair. They literally fold it like a taco and fold the paper into the donair. I've been there many many times because the food tastes good, but for the love of God can someone from the Leduc basha come and teach them how to actually wrap a donair so I don't have to eat it with a fork. The donairs are good,but they are cheap with the toppings. The reason why I gave them 2 stars , is because the employees or maybe the owner is not very friendly, he seemed to be annoyed when asking questions, no customer service at all, I was asking questions about the food and he looked annoyed, maybe he should not have a bussiness or work there. Not sure if he was the owner. Also the fries were not very good,I have had fries from other donair placededes and they are good , these ones lack of flavour...
