FOOD POISONING!!! If there was a zero, this is it. 45 minutes after the restaurant food that was oddly stinky and not good tasting I started to become extremely nauseous, by 6pm I had a very high fever that last 2 nights, major abdominal pains, muscle and bones feel like breaking painful from the food poisoning. After we left the restaurant I didn't have anything else to eat or drink, i know that I know it was this oddly tasting & stinky fish tacos. My husband had a bite of one of my tacos and he had the runs, and still has a mild nausea & stomach pains. Here is more what actually took place, we came with a group of friends. Once everyone has received their orders, I kept waiting and waiting, my friend finally approached the server about my order for me. The server had my order mistaken that I would just share one plate with my husband, although she never verified, and was insisting it was my fault, instead of apologizing for misunderstanding and not verifying, we are human it happens, just make it right, that's all. The server was blaming me and was a bit argumentative, because of that, my friend asked for the manager, a kid teenage manger who is obviously wanting to please the servers, stated the order came fast in the end, I said "what do you mean fast? even after the argumentative server it took like 20 minutes for my order." He said "since the order came fairly fast, he can only take 50% off the bill" Almost everyone was done eating when my order came in with kids running the place with ZERO customer service skills. Anyway, it isn't even about the money, because i didn't want a scene, i just said that's fine. What this is really about is that I got very sick with the food given to me. I should be taking action on this situation, I am going for a blood test and this restaurant better get themselves together and take responsibly. When they screw up an order, they should still use safe, fresh and full cooking techniques. We had these tacos at another Boston Pizza before, it tasted very good, not musty or smelly like...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorse experience my spouse and I have ever had at Boston pizza. For context, this is one of our favourite restaurants that we go to at least once a week. We always order the triple play so thatās what we did. Our server Walker B brought it to us. The cactus cuts were burnt to a crisp, the Thai chicken bites were extremely overcooked and half of them were unsauced which is odd cause it appeared like we had only received half of our chicken bites. The bandara bread appeared okay so I informed Walker and he said he would have the kitchen remake the cactus cut and Thai bites. He told us to keep the bandara bread so we did. Our order came back out and thatās the photo I have posted. The cactus cuts I hope you can see how truly burnt they are and the Thai bites once again super burnt and under sauced⦠also again thatās the portion we got which is so much smaller then usual. I very politely informed Walker and he said and I quote āit must be the fryer or oil or somethingā no apology or anything. Okay, so we tried to eat it but it was very bad so once he came back I told him āIām so sorry unfortunately I donāt wish to eat this as itās extremely overcooked and since youāve said itās the fryer/oil then it doesnāt make sense to remake itā he said okay, again no apology. Earlier I had ordered a Boston size sangria and when he brought it to me it was a regular size and I inquired about it and he said oh itās fine I put an extra shot for you⦠so it was a double not a Boston size yet I got charged a Boston size. Speaking of charged. The bill came and Walker charged us for the Bandara bread he told us to keep and only took the triple play out. I want you to understand, the portion size of the bread in the triple play is much smaller than the portion size if you just ordered regular bandara bread. Yet thatās what we got charged for. No apology or nothing.. very very bad service and food. My partner and I always joke that weāll have Boston pizza at our wedding cause we actually met here. After this, no thanks. Never been more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am incredibly disappointed with the service I received from Boston Pizzaās tonight. I placed a delivery order just after 7 pm; the website said the wait time was an hour, but by 8:30 I still had not heard from them so I called the store. I had given the store the wrong phone number, so when the delivery driver called it didnāt reach me. When I realized this I called the store to ask if they could try delivery again as I live just down the road and they said yes. I gave them the correct phone number and apologized. I waited another 40 minutes and my food had not been delivered yet. At this point, it has been close to 2 hours after I ordered my food and I decided to go and pick up the order myself. When I arrived at the restaurant I waited for approximately 10 minutes with no service. Multiple people made direct eye contact with me and turned around and walked away. When I was finally greeted I was told that the delivery driver was ājust about to leaveā. They then went to grab me my food, which at this point has been prepared over two hours ago. Out of the 3 employees helping me over 20 minutes, one manager acknowledged that I should not be served the same food that was prepared 2 hours prior, despite being offered the food by the other two. When I asked if I could have my $10 delivery fee refunded ($5 of which was a tip for the driver) because I ended up needing to come to the store to pick up my food regardless, despite being told a second delivery trip was no problem, the manager told me that there was nothing she could do but give me a $5 store credit. The store credit is only valid for that particular Boston pizza. So I left with my food 2 and a half hours after I ordered it, in my own vehicle, after being ignored, and after tipping a delivery driver who did not even attempt to use the intercom to reach me. As a person who works customer service I am horrified by the lack of communication and kindness this...
