Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Edmonton

I haven't been to Dairy Queen for years. I went there on Sunday, November 10th. 2024 Store location 133 Street and 114 Avenue

I ordered a small burger and fries, plus a large fries and onion rings. The meal comes with a drink. First off, I found the burger to be too dry and too thin. For my choice of drink, I chose Dr Pepper and I found it to be very flat, with no kick to it whatsoever. I then decided to try a little taste of the root beer to see if it was better. No success whatsoever. I then thought I should try a little taste of the Pepsi and see if that's better. Success Yahoo!

The Only plus that I will say when it comes to the drinks is you can go and get a refill, Unlike other fast food joints these days. Eating the golden fries was a real pleasure. They were done to perfection. I found them to be way tastier than McDonald's. Now, when it comes to Dairy Queen's onion rings, they were fantastic! I found them to be much better than A and W's. Again, Golden Brown and not burnt. The young woman that served me was very friendly and nice.

I Introduced myself to the manager. Her name is Kim. and she is very professional and pleasant. The restaurant and the bathroom, I must say, were impeccably clean. I definitely will return to dine there again. #DataDiggerDon Foodedmonton.com...

Edit. new review. Part 2. My boyfriend picked me up a hot fudge Sundea because I was having a bad day. He asked for extra extra hot fudge, paid for it and this is what he got. He even questioned them and they said this was much more than they usually give..UMMM you're charging $8 for ice cream and this is probably the amount that a CHILDS Should have. This location is SO cheap and never give you the extras you pay for. And the fudge wasn't even hot To boot lol Officially never returning.

Had a wicked craving for ice cream so I broke and came to get a blizzard. Mint oreo with brownie. No mint (at all) barely any Oreo or brownie. This location is the only one that seems to be really skimpy. You pay $8.5 for ice cream and it's basically just that, ice cream.

Incorrect order, cold food and found a hair in my burger. When called to speak to someone , I was told a manager would get back to me and they never did.

Also paid for extra Oreo in my Blizzard and there was barely any Oreo to begin with. But that was a while ago and not related to...

I regularly frequent the Westmount Dairy Queen and really enjoy the Blizzards and sundaes. Most times it’s a quick pick-up through the drive-through to take the ice cream home for the family to enjoy. The last few times I’ve had the unfortunate experience of a grouchy person at the window. I HAD to ask for lids for the blizzards, so they wouldn’t melt all over the seat going home. It’s a safe bet that I won’t be eating several blizzards by myself! My bad for assuming that the person at the window could see that I was alone in the car. After asking 3 times for lids, she begrudgingly put lids at the top of the spoons before passing them to me. Um, ok. Too difficult to put the lids all the way down? If you don’t wish to do your job properly and be rude about it, I guess you don’t need my business either.
