Good pizza that I was surprised at the location and building.
When my friends first suggested this place, I was hesitant because the front store does not scream pizza place more dive type and probably bad pizza.Well I can put that perceptions to rest.
The pizza is really good. I did not expect it at all. The pizza crust is amazing. It has neapolitan flavour and texture. Remember Famoso's neoplolitan pizza, yes think that but Bravo does it 100 times better.
1st time I went with friends, the service was okay not the greatest and I felt pizza was a bit salty. However the pizza crust was good. 2nd time I want to give Bravo a 2nd chance so I went with my Brother, it was better than the 1st time. The score be based on 2nd visit.
Calamari is good with great crust from breading with the sauce.
Spaghetti and meatballs is average nothing special. Standard pasta pizza and garlic bread was meh.
But the pizza outshines everything. We ordered spicy chorizo. Perfect amount of spice from banana peppers. The pizza was not salty at all. Perfect amount of seasoning. Crust has perfect crunch and light and fluffy. Decent price for a large too
My first visit my friends ordered meat lovers and spinach pizza.
Dessert is nutella calzone. Perfect amount of sweetness from the Nutella. Crispy crust. Maybe a scoop of ice cream would be nice.
The owner/chef worked and learned his pizza craft in Italy. Well done! The pizza is amazing.
Overall I recommend anyone who wants to try good pizza to come to...
Read moreMy husband and I live in the neighborhood and love supporting local mom-and-pop spots like this one. The food here is genuinely great—fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can tell there’s been a recent change in ownership. The pasta and pizzas have noticeably improved, with more complex flavors and consistently solid execution.
That said, I’d like to offer a gentle suggestion regarding the customer service. During our last two visits, we waited over 45 minutes for our food. We understand the space is small—about six tables—and we purposely ordered ahead, expecting a bit of a wait. We even went for a bike ride while waiting.
When we returned roughly 30 minutes after placing our order, there were only two tables dining in, and we were told it would be another 15 minutes. That was fine, but when we came back again, we weren't acknowledged at all, despite standing near the counter and the server walking by multiple times. A quick “Hey, just a few more minutes” would’ve gone a long way, especially since there didn’t appear to be many delivery orders or a rush of customers.
We truly want this place to thrive—it’s a gem in the community. Just a little more attention to the customer experience would really elevate it.
That said, I genuinely recommend checking this place out if you're craving Italian or live nearby (or even if you don't!). It’s absolutely worth supporting, and we’ll definitely continue to...
Read moreFirstly, thank you Bravo Pizza for being in this neighbourhood! Warning: If you're not familiar with authentic Italian food, especially pizza, then stick to Dominos. The pizza at Bravo is as close to the real thing--genuine Italian pizza--as you are going to get in Edmonton, Alberta. Thin crust, topped with the right amount of delicious toppings. The quality of the ingredients as well as the care that goes into the food is top tier. The service from the owner and his wife is superb. These are people that put their heart and soul into their business. Also this is one of the only places in this neighbourhood you can get a very decent cappuccino, latte, etc., not the sad imitation available at Starbucks. So for those folks out there that want a good Italian meal for a very reasonable price and know a little about what authentic Italian food should be like, please come to Bravo. It...
