Bulk Barn — Restaurant in Edmonton

Great staff and friendly. I came in to the store last night looking for snacks for my school kids graduation party. I was greeted warmly when I entered the store and asked twice while shopping if i was finding everything ok. I enjoy going up and down all the aisles in the bulk barn to see whats new. When I finally finished all my shopping I went to the front of the store to make my purchases. The line up was slightly long however there were 2 ladies at the registers smiling and making great conversation with the customers paying and the customers waiting. When i got up to the register I was greeted with a huge smile and the happiest hello i have ever gotten in my 56 years. The cashier was amazing smiling and laughing and asking me questions to make sure I had gotten everything I needed. I quickly paid and stood off to the side I waited for the line to dissipate and approached the smiling cashier that had helped me I asked her if i could show her some pictures of candies on my phone so that she could possibly help me find something similar. ABSOLUTELY!! she replied she took a peak at the pictures and we were off down the aisles, not only did she help me with candy selections she helped me with some beautiful jars for the candy table and funny names for the labels. We went back up to pay and i was on my way with a cheerful have a great party hope your kids love it. I thanked her for all of her amazing help and asked if i could have her name, Megan she replied and promptly asked me mine. This was hands down the best shopping experience I have had in a bulk barn or any store I have been to this is truly great...

I've been here a few times this year. First visit and so on. One complaint I have is the peanut butter machine aint ever working or hooked up whenever I go there. Bulk Barn is usually the only place in town I can get Ganongs Pal O Mine. Just a favorite of mine. I would like more consistency on pricing info as well. Current flyer reads Sept 14 to 20 15 $ off Jamieson vitamins and K cup coffees. The store shelf had 15% off on the vitamins but not for the K cups. I asked the till lady about it and she said show me the email flyer. NOT IMPRESSED by t that so I said I aint got it with me. I didnt want to bother. Otherwise not a bad trip on a nice Friday evening. I ind it best to go in their prepared for wat you want otherwise you may spend money endlessly. DONT SHOP AT ALBANY! Expired goods everywhere & very nasty store needs thorough cleaning.

I went in to bulk barn albany a few weeks ago and It was a bad experience. I don’t know where all the great staff went but who they have now are wastes of time & money. I figured maybe it was an off day. Well.. nope. The amount of expired goods on the shelves & stale stuff in bins is enough of a red flag. Staff would rather gather at the till area & gossip than actually work or be friendly with customers. The store is filthy and the scoops I swear have every germ imaginable with the amount of product stuck on them. I doubt they have been changed in months by the look of them. This store has gone downhill since December and I advise everyone who reads this to shop at other locations until they hire competent happy staff and hopefully a great manager like the other...
